The SRF700 has a slim neck that's easy to play with nice, low action. There aren't any fretlines, which definitely adds to the look. The 3 pickups (there's a piezo under the bridge) give an amazing wide range of tones, and the neck through design gives amazing sustain. I've had it for 3 weeks, and still love it. I just wish Ibanez would stop recessing the output jack which limits the type of cables or transmitters you can use without an adapter.

For a fretless and me being a beginner. Its actually pretty easy to play. Compared to my cheap no name brand bass it plays itself. And the sound is so much more crisp and clean. I love it. I might have to send it back because I can't exactly afford the payments at this time. Just had a Baby Girl on 09/18.

Mellow and warm is how you fee when you first pick it up.I've never had a fretless bass and now I don't know what took me so long to get one.It's beautifully balanced and has a smooth sound.I'm challenged when I play it to see just what it can do.Very satisfied with purchase.

I really love this bass, I have been playing guitar and bass for over 40 years. The feel and the sound of a fretless bass is breath taking. This bass sounds great right out of the box. The pickup system is an added plus.
Go on you tube a look up this bass . You will hear what I am taking about. Plus it is a beautiful instrument.

very easy to play fast neck sound is what I been looking for also the tone of the bass overall now I wish I would have gotten the 5 string but I have the Gary Wilson 5 string and it is great also a sr600 really love this bass and fender
