This is the best OD out there. I don't really use the extra modes so my second one of these for my other amp is the plain TS9. If you like boosted bass and treble get this for the turbo modes.

Great Bypass Great Gain/Sustain!

This Ibanez pedal has an "uncolored" by-pass sound when running my guitar through it and while I'm not activating the gain switch; this is a very important feature because I do play clean-tone guitar quite a bit, then use the Ibanez pedal for sustaining-note soloing. I need a pedal that has excellent by-pass quality sound, and this Ibanez pedal delivers that, AND the great gain/sustain it is designed for.
I have several competitor pedals which do have very good, (one in particular has GREAT sustain/gain tone) but none of them I can use when I play out live because when I switch back to clean sound, my guitar's natural clean pickup tones are not as natural sounding as they should be. I don't see where Ibanez even advertises this pedal as a "true bypass" pedal, but it seems to be a true by-pass pedal to my ears, especially when I compare it to my other pedals which cost more money.
Ibanez TS9DX comes HIGHLY recommended!

This is the 2nd one of these i have bought, 1st one stopped working after a week. This one so far has worked perfectly. It's great as a stand alone for light rock or blues, or perfect as a preamp to give you more gain.

Very nice and sturdy. I trust Ibanez with just about everything i have a guitar by them and pedals too. They are very reliable when it comes to durability.
I've had mine for about 4 years and its holding up fine, no malfunctions at all.
Your general opinion of this product.
Personally it is my favorite of all the Ibanez TS, other people would rather have the other models, but this pedal is great if your looking for more of a variety of sounds and even if you want to go back to the original TS sound.
Like i said before you can get just about any tone you want out of this pedal.
Paint job looked nice, gave a little bit of a vintage vibe in my opinion.
The switch still works fine

The original TS9 setting sounds great. I don't really use the other settings, they add a little to much low end for my taste. If you like the added low end then get this pedal if not get the original reissue. Either way this pedal is in my opinion one of the best sounding pedals I've ever heard.

This is the best pedal I have ever used in my life! There is Four different effects, you could even have the same sound as the orginal Tubescreamer, a crunch, and there is Turbo which gives you the 80's rock sound you have always wanted.

I almost feel fortunate to have ever stumbled across this thing. This is the purest sounding, most versatile pedal I've ever used. It just has that thick, warm tone...can't beat it.

QUALITY:
I've had this thing for a little over a year and I had no problems with it.
FEATURES:
I like the 4 different features but hot and turbo sound alike and turbo doesn't have that much distortion.
EASE OF USE:
This product is very easy to use
VALUE:
The value should be like 10 dollars less.
SOUND:
the clear sound is great but theres not a lot of distortion.
STYLE:
Rock, Jazz
OVERALL:
I like all the features, but when I wanted distortion I wanted a lot. This doesn't have much but keeps a clear tone.
