Product Rating Product Review Preamp died on my acoustic and I needed something to help with a small gig. Came in handy and sounded great. Haven’t used it for recording yet, but will soon.

Product Review I’m impressed by this preamp, it really sounds great and the feedback reduction is very helpful when pushing more volume in a live setting. I don’t use the included pickup though instead I use the under saddle pickup on my classical guitar. To me it sounds much better with the preamp. The included pickup isn’t bad though and I can use both and blend if i like. My only real complaint with this is how thin the cable on the pickup is. Seems like it would go bad after a bit of regular use. Like I said though I use with my other pickup. The software included is also very useful and the case is too

Product Review I bought this to use on a classical I have owned for more then 30 years. I was going to buy a preamp and pick up but I was worried about damaging the guitar putting it in. I had tried a adhesive type but the constant taking it off and putting it on was getting to be a hassle. I spotted this and checked some reviews and bought it. I'm very glad I did because it's easier to clip on then clip off. It's well worth the money I spent.

Looking for natural acoustic sound without spending a bunch of cash on mikes, pickups and preamps?

Product Review I was curious about how this rig might reproduce the sound of my 2010 Breedlove King Koa . I refuse to drill holes or apply super glue for mounting internal anything on that instrument, so this looked like it could be a workable solution. Well, setting it up and plugging it into my Fishman Artist amp, I was gobsmacked. It was easy to dial in the equalization, manage feedback and eliminate the usual "nasal" sound of most pickups. Now I can finally play this in public and be heard! Next I tried it on my K26ce with the old Expressions system - the one that makes the guitar sound like if it had a nose, it would sing while holding it. This iRig setup refuses to color any instrument's sound- using the iRic with the Taylor sounded like I'd wished the Expression system had sounded when the guitar was new. I even tried it on my mango wood ukulele, and it sounded as natural and clean as if I'd live-miked it. This a useful tool that solves a whole lot of problems for a reasonable amount of money.
