Love the Decimator so much I bought a second one to use also. I run one through my EVH Stealth head effects loop, which I also got from AMS. And one out in front of the amp. Makes everything super quite when palm muting and playing choppy riffs as I play a lot of high gain metal with effect pedals in the amps effects loop and effect pedals in front of the amp. Definitely recommend this ISP Decimator noise gate.

Transparent, Quiet, and you don't even know its there. This is replacing a older version which was great, and this one is even better. ISP is owned by the Founder and Engineer of Rocktron who pioneered the Hush system and basically was the father of noise reduction. ISP has taken what was great and made it better. For no frills noise reduction that works this is the only pedal to get. Works great in front of and amp as well as the loop.

Really tightened up my sound and added clarity to each note without restricting my sustain. Listened to scores of demos of other pedals online and this one won every time. Very pleased with how it sounds in my rig.

I had read all of the reviews and watched several videos on the ins and outs of this pedal. It does everything that has been said about it. I love this pedal. Have had issues for a bit on noise from my guitar rig. Instant remedy with this baby. Love it!

I have a pedalboard with 19 pedals on it and was having issues with noise. I gig almost every weekend and i rewired the board about 30 different ways. The decimator is the ONLY noise reduction product i will ever use.

Still not sure if i love this pedal yet or not. It does the job but it seems my BossNS2 has more to offer so far. Im still working with it so I may end up loving it, but for now I feel as if I may have bought into the "hype" on this pedal.

I've gone through my fair share of effects pedals but the only one that stays consistent on my board is the Decimator II. Easy to use, clear and precise threshold, and built like a tank. If I could make a suggestion for anyone in need of a cleaner sound, here it is.

I have a pretty noisy hi gain amp and the Decimator makes it dead silent less than halfway up the dial, and doesn’t suck the tone (I believe that’s a real thing as I have heard it with the boss Ns-2, some will tell you otherwise). I only run a boost pedal with it so I have no need for the next version upcoming, so if you’re a straight ahead “old school” metal player like me, this is what you need.

This pedal is amazing and one of the best noise gates out there ONLY if you are planning on playing live shows or need a noise gate pedal this powerful because of overwhelming tube amps. I have a Triple Rec Mesa Boogie head and cab. I run OD808X in front of it and absolutely need this pedal. If you are playing at lower volumes or have a digital amplifier than I would so go with the Boss NS2 noise suppressor. The ISP Decimator will choke an amp if it plays at too low of volumes. ISP decimator for LIVE SHOWS AND 100 WATT+ TUBE HEADS and the Boss NS2 for LOW VOLUMES/ DIGITAL AMP HEADS!!!!

I have a Marshall DSL100H and I love the sound. However, when the gain is turned up I get a loud hum. This pedal does the trick and takes away the hum without any sacrifice to my tone. It has only one knob that is adjusted until the hum is gone making it very user friendly. This pedal does exactly what I bought it for.

One of the best pedals I own. I never used a noise gate in the past, but decided to get one since my valveking is having a lot of buzz, and man, I cant play without it now. it doesnt even touch my tone. it clears everything up and just makes my amp sound great. amazing pedal, would buy every time needed and referring it to anyone i know.
