Product Rating Product Review The sound is beautiful, very clear, but with the ability to get that heavy, raw, rough sound...the decimator is icing on the cake...every guitarist should have this pedal, especially at the price, well done ISP.

Product Review Rounds out the notes nicely. Great array of sounds. Plus a really good noise gate. Can't go wrong. Made in the USA also.

Product Review I got this pedal this morning and used it at rehearsal tonight through the effects return of my Peavey JSX..100 W tube amp. The two gain sections sound great and I was able to hear myself clearly no matter how much gain I was using. Very clear, which I love, because it gives me such freedom. Even my bandmates were really impressed. I look forward to using it at gigs. Very happy with this purchase.

Product Review I thought id use this for the crazy amount of distortion. but so far I prefer my marshall dsl 100h gain/distortion (until I can get a load box) and i am using this for the preamp tone shaping and the decimator. both are phenominal. I absolutley love how the decimator will follow the signal so the order of your pedals on the pedal board are unaffected. the pedals that come after this one in the chain, the excess noise is still removed, just make sure the preamp is on at minimum. Very very flexible pedal with wonderful tone. cant wait to explore more with this.

Your general opinion of this product. Outstanding! Made VERY well, VERY dependable. The feel of the knobs and switches are (for lack of a better term) High end. The tone shaping (and molding) ability of this device is extreme and indeed multi faceted, multi layered yet surprisingly intuitive...and I've owned and used MANY such pedals (Keely, Bogner, TC, Boss, EH etc.) all high end, this one takes top honors. The multiple gain stages are perfectly integrated with the multiple tone stages. It doesn't matter what genre you're into, this thing literally does it all. Work with it a bit and you'll find EXACTLY what you're looking for...and then some! N/A Sexy. I've had it a couple of weeks now but (with power conditioning and surge pro) I for see this unit being fully functional for decades at the least. It's built like a tank.

A real actual Preamp in a pedal more than a mere distortion...

Your general opinion of this product. ISP has shocked me in the higher end gear they make. I just thought they did NR pedals. I had never heard of the Theta preamp or amp rig. Now this new pedal format Theta preamp. Superior quality here. The pedal is expensive but this is no basic distortion pedal or mere overdrive of standard fair. Control pots have a good firm but smooth quality component feel. Jacks are reversed on the in and out which makes for a little different patch cable issue. Maybe to emphasize this pedal is not your basic guitar pedal. It runs of VAC "not DC" and the supplied wart is a 9VAC 2000mA reverse pin positive jack, pretty substantial current. No real tubes inside but a much higher voltage pump circuit. Unit has great response and feel, a wide range of gain structures and EQ ability and the built in Decimator II circuit kill the noise on uber gained tones. The Decimator itself is a marvel. Not your basic noise gate clamper, feels the music and adjusts its release and downward expansion to fit the signal coming in. There are many options here on tone, the stand alone preamp channel which is the reason I got this unit can be used as a primary preamping stage with minimal gain or also used into the 2 gain level distortion channel. This unit is capable of massive heavy voiced gain which remaining note articulate and a gain structure that feels great under your hands. Red is fine. Personally I get fatigued by the pedal rainbow look all the time. I wish all my pedals were just black with gold knobs that would be very cool and more professional looking. Red on black is OK, could be much worse. ISP makes quality high end gear. See no reason why this unit should not hold up well.

Your general opinion of this product. OMG THE best money I have ever spent on a Distortion pedal and worth every penny! Solid! Silent Switching! Easy intuitive controls. The only thing I could possibly complain about is that the Input and Send ports are switched so it was a little weird to chain with standard pedals but I was able to modify my pedal board no problem. Buttery Overdrive in the Preamp Overdrive and ultimate saturation on the Distortion Channel. Sounds sweet when you combine the two as well. Sounds sooooo damn GOOD! Built in Noise Suppressor kills! Love the Red! Only had it a month but I think it will stand the test of time no problem.
