I actually had to order this guitar twice because the first arrived with a broken headstock. When I received and opened the replacement, I immediately noticed how low quality the fretboard was and it had terribly sharp fret edges. My fingers we're shredded up within five minutes of playing. The pickups sounded pretty decent, but could definitely use an upgrade. The actual appearance of the guitar is nice with the red glittery paint and black hardware, but overall I have to say there are better options for beginner guitarists. It would be a decent project guitar for those with the time and patience to put into it.

I ordered the Metallic Blue JS11. It came damaged from shipping. The top right corner of the guitar went through the box and broke off. I was heartbroken when realizing that they didn't have another Metallic Blue in stock. I requested to return so I could re-purchase the metallic blue at a different store but when I started looking around, everyone was sold out of that color as well. I started playing her and OMG! She is a beast! I absolutely love her! I am a beginner and she makes me sound like I have been playing for years. The sound is amazing nailing the perfect pitch and tone! I love her so much I opted to cancel my return and if another metallic blue comes in, I will set the exchange up and if not, I will glue the piece of wood back on and enjoy my "custom design". Hehe! Great product at an amazing value! You will not go wrong purchasing this guitar! One note to the packaging department; come up with a different packaging design that protects the instrument. MY fiance has two Dinky JS32's, a JS12 and is getting ready to purchase a 4th Jackson RR edition. Every delivery, you can tell the guitar shifts in the box during shipping. Mine unfortunately was damaged, I am sure this is a repetitive issue with the package design. Still 5 stars for this beast!

Bought the Jackson JS11 so my grandkids could have some fun along side of me but didn't expect this good of a thrashing machine for the money. I have more fun with it than my grandkids throw in a couple of peddles and it gets wild.
Overall just a fun little guitar for not a lot of money.

I was looking for a guitar to get back in shape and this hit all the right spots. In my olden days I used to play an old passed down Rhoads and an ESP so I wasn’t sure this one would be the right choice but for the price it was worth the shot. It’s a great starting point for beginners because of its size but even for experienced it’s a solid piece of equipment that doesn’t disappoint. It provides great tone and, surprisingly, sustain that I wasn’t expecting. The pickups do an excellent job but I’m already planning on changing them for a pair of Seymour Duncan that I found on sale. I’d love the signature sharkfin frets but I’m not complaining. Overall excellent buy.

The Jackson JS-11 is a very nice shredder at a great price. 20 or 30 years ago you would had paid twice for the quality of this guitar. Excellent choice for a beginning, or someone looking for a great guitar to mod later on. Plays great and sounds great. Highly recommend this guitar!

I was looking for a nice little solid body to bang around with. When I saw this Jackson I thought yeah, that's it. Something for fun and no big deal if it pans out. But what I got for the money I paid is amazing. This little ax sounds great. Strong pups, sweet little neck and no nonsense selections - volume tone, switch to neck, bridge or both on the pickups. Applied a little setup to get the strings down to playing level and have been having a ball with it. Sounds great on my Fender amp.
You definitely can't go wrong buying this Jackson.

I own seven guitars and counting. This guitar is my favorite so far. I'm not a kid with his first guitar writing a review,so believe me when I say wow at this price point. I really couldn't believe how well it's made,sounds and set up from the factory. If you want a really great guitar at a reasonable price...look no further.

Not much more to say about this guitar. Probably the best cheap guitar you could ever buy sounds amazing and plays amazing for the price. Tuners could be a little better maybe but that is my only half complaint. Id recommend this guitar to anyone

This guitar was more than I expected for the $$$, I've been playing for 20 plus years and Jackson did an awesome job on this entry level guitar. Please note, may be an entry level guitar however, it plays like an intermediate guitar. I, play at least 2-3 guitars, 4-5 days out of the week and this is one of them. I, spend about an hour or more with each guitar from my collection Damm good job Jackson!!!

This is actually a nice guitar for the price, cant say i have to many complaints, i did have to set it apon arrival but thats no biggy. And i wasn't ro happy with they strings but thats no issue. Relaplaced with cobalts and couldnt be happier.
