This is a really nice guitar. The specs alone surpass most, if not all, of the other 7 strings available from the standard brands. The 5 way toggle switch alone is a huge selling factor. I did not see another that had this. The neck somehow feels more comfortable then my 6 string (this was my first 7 string). The pickups are pristine and finish is great (not too flashy but not black). This is really a complete package. This could be sold along side of $1500 guitars in my opinion. Some of the fret edges were a just a tad sharp but seemed mostly due to lack of moisture. The quality of the rest of the guitar outweighs that minor issue for me. Fun to play and inspiring! For less than $1000 dollars I feel this cannot be beaten (dare you to find something better, the ESPs are close for an extra $800). I would recommend the hard shell case (Item#: JAC2996100) when ordering. It is nice because AMS will put the guitar in the case prior to shipping (they have done that for me on all my orders!).

Ill admit i bought this as a blemished product which is why the price was good but i have had it for over a week now and have yet to find where the blemish is...as far as i can tell its still brand new....as far as the guitar itself , its beautiful very comfy to play and i really like the different tones you can get out of it with the 5 way pickup switch...happy with my purchase awesome guitar
