Better than expected out of the box!

Product Review
I am a beginner, but this thing ticks every box and more (especially for a sub $400 guitar). Sounds great to my untrained ear, and almost perfectly intonated out of the box. American Musical Supply had it at my door 2 days after ordering. This is now my daily practice guitar and I foresee it being that way for some time.

First Jackson I’ve owned, because even though I knew they are good guitars, everyone I had ever seen was ugly. I tried an Epiphone, nice but boring. Tried a schecter, heavy, and no factory setup. Wouldn’t even tune, it was so out of whack. And I refuse to pay a guitar store $100 to setup a guitar I just paid $400 for. So I sent them back. This guitar is great. Beautiful, and setup almost perfectly out of the box. Great sound, and lightweight. Highly recommend. Buy one now, because they’ll sell out soon.

Absolutely love this guitar. I wanted the Les Paul form factor and prefer the comfort of scooped out guitars and this has the best of both. Plus, the color aint too bad either!
MY only gripes would be that the nut is either a hair too wide or just needs finishing on the ends. The outer edges of the nut definitely stick out the sides of the slot. Also, the fret ends or a little TOO rounded down particularly on the bass end of the lower frets. Normal fretting in that area sometimes leads to the string falling off the board. So, this issue is either from the nut being wide(hence the overhang)and therefore throwing off the string spacing, the rounding of the fret ends being just extreme enough to roll the string off the fretboard, OR just terrible technique. Although my technique doesn't cause this to happen on my Schecter so there's that.
Sound is great and the instrument is solid otherwise. I don't use the tone knob but I did notice the effect of it is hardly noticeable but for me the knob may as well not even be there.
Looks great, neck plays great, tuning is great, and it doesn't dig into my fat belly after an extended session so overall I'm happy. I don't feel a great need to return it even with it's quirks so that says something I hope!

This Jackson sounds awesome right out of box! I bought this for my wife for Christmas, for her to learn how to play! I can’t believe how close the action is. She has been playing her old guitar about 2 months and loves this guitar, it has made her sound so much better. She can’t believe how easy it is to play. I love the design of the headstock, but most of all that beautiful purple finish! She loves it, earning me good points, with her!

After purchasing this guitar, i plugged it in immediately when it arrived and fell in love. This guitar not only aesthetically pleases my eyes but sounds so crisp and clean. At stock it keeps the tune well and the pick ups arent half bad either! I think for what the price is you're paying good money for a great guitar.

Product Review
Fit and finish were excellent on this guitar - no complaints. Loving the compound radius neck with reinforcement rods. I have had mine a few months now and put it to the test at a gig on Jun 8th and I am loving the Jackson humbucking pickups for their sound, output and sustain. At the end of a song, I was having to roll off the volume because it has such awesome sustain paired with my amp that the note just wants to ring forever. Fabulous guitar for the dough. Mine must have been made on a Tues - Thurs. Love the Transparent Purple finish. I do NOT see any reason for any MODS to this guitar. Keeping it as is. Better get one before word gets out and price goes up or they discontinue this model.

Product Review
This guitar arrived in almost perfect intonation and required just a slight tuning. The neck is fast and the action is spot on. I do need to lower the pickups just a touch for my liking. I love the color. The sound from this was much better than I anticipated. I would recommend this guitar and I am more than happy with my selection.
