Will not power on after just a few uses. No Jbl service in my area. I do not even know how to get any help to get the warranty coverage. I bought in May and used them less than once a month. They are supposed to be covered but there is nobody to even look at them for me within hundreds and hundreds of miles

These powered units are spectacularly clear and powerful. I have deejayed casually for more than 30 years, using large, highly efficient speakers and bulletproof amps; these units combine both in a (relatively) easily portable system, making transport and setup simpler than with separate components, and they can play LOUD. Sound pressures and pristine clarity ensure that these cabinets will be at the center of the celebration, no matter how large the venue or the size of the audience. (And they ROCK as mains in a home theater setup as well. I've clocked them at over 125 decibels at the seating position at home, and they never broke a sweat.) If you are looking for a fully self-contained speaker/amp system, grab a set of these monsters and connect your mixer. Then HANG ON!

Hi, yes I had to do a review for someone thinking about updating there system like I did. Since purchasing the jobless srx835p I feel like there is not any other tops to buy I’m done ! They have live sound quality. Everything is built in that you need . I love using them linked to my iPad also very professional. These speakers gives you the impression that your at a concert. They also give great bass tones. Very impressive. Well worth the money!

Very glad I bought these as they were a big upgrade for my live music system. The clarity is wonderful, nice crisp and clear highs and solid thump on the lows with a smooth mid range. All instruments and vocals sound great through these. I'm extremely happy with them and will eventually purchase two more. Thanks AMS for prompt shipping and as always, great customer service!

I recommend this speakers just quality of speakers, have the best sound and even more the bass sound smooth/hard sound good. If you are interested in buying speakers, look into the JBL SRX835P 3way, I guarantee you are going to love them, even more the size are smaller but the sound is awesome professional box and speakers to take on the challenge of any music it's plays.

Just building my credit back to ...all other music companies like AMS said no to me ??.... so far I got 2 monitors on their payment plan paid them off now working on paying this srx off great company and great products so we can play to pay ! Awesome speakers!! I ordered a pair of the SRX835p and they are awesome! BUT I didn't get them when they said I was supposed to get them, I'm a little disappointed because it took 7 days when they said I was getting them in 2 days. They need to work on shipping department.

Hands down the best speakers I have ever owned! Superior sound and very robust! We play some pretty big venues and these cover the area perfectly. You don't even need a sub with the amount of bass these things put out! Great Great product!

I'll give them a 4 without even trying them out. The HF horns in my passive 725s are the best sounding in the biz. 137 db! wow, that will work. Someone said the QSC is better...I love my QSC products, but these drivers are badass! I use JBL passive speakers with QSC amps. I have 4 SRX 728 subs with a QSC RMX 4050 bridged on each one. Makes for a killer concert system. I've also used the Ev ETX35P, as I have one pair of those, the HF horns just aren't as smooth sounding as JBLs. I'd like to hear a comparison between the EVs and the JBLs.

The sound quality of these speakers are great. The bass is very good for not being a subwoofer. The lows will hold their own. They are heavy so a second person is recommended if you want to put them up on some stands. I've yet have to hook it up to a laptop and play around with the settings but out of the box they sound amazing. I agree with some people that they do peak a little sooner than I would like but if you turn down the low end bass some, you can turn it up some more.

well, i bought 2 815p's first. then an 818sp. but i kept lamenting the fact my set up did not have the mid driver. which is new and totally hi-tech. so i bought 2 835p's on sale in june. two of these sitting on top of their 818 counterpart gives you a bangin 4way system. all powered, all processed , all matched together. i am king of the hill again w/ these bad ass srx's

This speaker finally takes the dryness out of the PA sound without heavy eq and other forms of enhancement. It is easily worth the twice high price of the other similar JBLs both powered and passive (which I usually prefer). The sound is far more liquid. I don't like powered speakers as the DSP and other adjustment functions take away power and sound quality in general but this thing overcomes almost all of that. This thing is a winner and needs only a single JBL (rather than the dual) sub for larger venues by itself and the cab itself, two of them will fill most <1000 seat venues exceptionally well.

There are a lot of powered speakers on the market. However the JBL SRX 835 are the first powered speaker that has truly impressed me. Sound quality, Sound Quality, Sound Quality! I use my JBLs for DJ as well as live performance. I wanted a versatile powered speaker that can do both. The 2 inch diaphragm for highs is what was needed not found with other powered speakers (loving it!). Setup/Sound check seems to be quicker. I have used Jbl SRX 835 (pair) alone and with JBLs SRX828 (double 18" sub) one sweet sounding PA not just a DJ system.

The only thing JBL did was increase the spl level very marginally. The quality is muddy at mid to loud volumes. I would never trust JBL quality after my experience with the cheaply built 735s which I traded in for QSC 153s. QSC is extremely better quality overall. Just for the hell of it I A/B them cause I am always interested in looking at new gear. There is a lot of hype around the SRX series. That's all it is. A/B them as I did. You will see QSC is far better

I HAD THE JBL PRX 635'S BEFORE THIS SET AND ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!! GREAT BOTTOM END AND VOICE CUTS THRU YOU WITH THE SWEET MID COMPLIMENTED BY A CLASSY HIGH END FROM THE HIGH FREQUENCY DRIVER. VERY RICH AND WARM SOUNDING. OUTSIDE OF BEING A PRETTY BIG BOX WEIGHING IN AT 85 POUNDS. THE SOUND COMING FROM THEM ARE UNMATCHED IN MY OPINION.
