This combo of a pedal is an asset to any system looking for a distortion or overdrive. I believe it to be a modded JHS Charlie Brown pedal but am not 100% sure of the story.

I like this better than the distortion side of my Sweet Tea. It has fewer controls and much more simple, but I can get the sounds in my head easier in this somehow.

I’m totally blown away by this distortion pedal! The tone definition is very smooth thru my rig. It can also rip your head off with a thick deep fat distortion, plus a killer gain boost depending on how you set it up. I think it could be a serious game changer for any amp on the market today. Highly recommend this one!

After 30+ years, I finally found THE sound I've been hearing in my head. This pedal is so good, I got rid of all my other pedals. And like a lot of guitarists, I've spent a ton of money searching for THAT magical pedal.
The boost is a great feature to have too! I use the Andy Timmons Plus with the JHS Morning Glory and it is all I need. Both pedals are very versatile, in my opinion.
I would definitely recommend this one!

Nice peddle and good rock tones. For the price, my $40 Golden Brownie sounds just as good. also, for my preference, the boost would be better suited on the back end. almost a keeper for me but the price to tone ratio just didn't cut it. If you don't mind the price, I think most people will like it. Tone a 4, price a 2.5

So I bought this pedal on a whim. I was looking for something a little different than my pedals and my amp could offer. I also didn't want something that sounded small and pedal like. This pedal delivers on all fronts. I also like how the boost can be used on it's own for just a little grit. This pedal is everything I could have ever wanted and more. Very warm and big sounding, and never harsh. More gain on tap than most of us should ever need. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely purchase this again.

I was looking for a nice overdrive for use with my Quilter 101 mini to play hard rock. My amp is set really clean so I was looking for something that would give me a true driven amp sound and the AT Plus was the answer. Nice mid range and the Air control, which is like a presence knowb and tone control let you find the sweet spot depending on your instrument and pickups of choice. My first JHS pedal, and it's safe to say I'll happily purchase more in the future.

This is the most natural sounding distortion of I’ve ever heard. I’ve had the “amp in the box” distortion boxes and they don’t compare to the JHS AT. Other than my hands, the JHS AT is the source of my tone.

My dad has ordered this and he absolutely fell in love. I would like to say (as a person who doesn’t know ANYTHING about guitar stuff)that even i like it too if your reading this you should get this. My dad has like ten ZILLLION of these kinds of distortion pedals and yet i already see that he uses this one the most, it also performs as an awesome antique. Red is a beautiful color

Love this thing. Turns a clean tube amp into a hot rodded JCM800. Lots of range with all of the controls. The boost is a great transparent boost. Simply adds some gain without coloring your tone. Also sounds good in front of a crunchy amp with the drive down and volume cranked up. I prefer the switch in the middle position. I think it's the 100 watt mode. It's the most open lease compressed of the settings. Solid build. Real versatile pedal. Works great with humbuckers or single coils and can easily dial a great tone with any of my amps. I also use it as a pre-amp in front of an IR for direct recording. Sounds like a cranked half stack without the hassle.

If Timmons uses it and get's that tone..why not? Glad I got this. Tried it out several times before getting it here at AMS. It's perfect for what I'm doing and you can get fat distortion out of this and still keep harmonics comin'.

First of all I want to say, I am really impressed by everything about this pedal!
I have been trying different overdrive/distortion pedal and to be honest I never was happy, but this pedal! OHHH BOY!!!! I always wanted the overdrive that I get from the Mesa lonestar in a pedal, full of tone and body! Many time I felt naked when I was playing in places where There were not mesa, but now I can get a pretty close tone a Amazing tone wherever I go to play!
