Two really good sounding pedals in one box, but ultimately both sides lost out to a KoT clone and a red dirt overdrive (both of which simply sounded more open and airy compared to the double barrel.
I’m starting to think JHS pedals are just better suited to HumBuckers and higher gain. The subtle nuances of a single coil are somewhat lost when using this pedal.
Don’t get me wrong, this was a great pedal and I wouldn’t have any complaints had I not compared it with two other pedals that are mainstays on my board. This one just seemed redundant.

I bought this for my practice board since I have a Morning Glory and Bonsai on my gig board. I like the Moonshine side and it works well stacked with the MG side. I also like the top mount jacks and space-saving combo enclosure. This very well could be the only drive pedal you need

JHS is an American company hat makes the best pedals on the market. Handcrafted for your rock / Blues pleasure. I personally keep the Morning Glory side on always then I add the Moonshine to kick it up a Notch like a dirty boost. Jhs is the Best

Hands down the best drive pedal on the market or should I say 2 pedals! The combo action of JHS’s morning glory (blues breaker circuit) and their moonshine (808 circuit) is everything I need and more.

This is in my opinion hands down one of the best distortion pedals out there for worship. Grab the red remote like I did and you get three stages of distortion. I love the morning Glory for worship. This pedal is just a no brainier. It sounds excellent and is super easy to dial in great tone. Love it on my board. It will stay there!
