This pedal is amazing. The Angry Charlie half has that Marshall brown tone nailed!!! Add in the Moonshine half and the pedal can go from a slight crunch to face melting distortion in a click of the button. I cannot recommend this pedal enough.

This pedal has been exactly what I wanted. The midrange boosting overdrive is incredible for blues, jazz, country, ambient, etc. It is very smooth and not harsh. In fact, you get two flavors of the overdrive and a clean blend. The Angry Charlie side gives you an incredible Marshaleque tone. You can stack them in either direction for a tone that just sustains for days. This pedal will never leave my board! Get one! You will be glad you did!

I bought this on a whim to use between my soul food and my Russian big muff. I'm glad I did. I've super stoked with the od and distortion I get from this pedal. I can keep the moonshine to where I just get that break up I'm looking for. On the angrey Charlie side I keep it pretty cranked so I get a real good saturation that sounds like tornado through a trailer park. I'm so happy with the drive I get from the moonshine side that I'll probably take my soulfood off my board. It's not a fuzz by any means so it's not gonna replace my muff, but it's perfect for everything else. It's on the pricey side but I've spent probably 5 times this amount on pedals over the years and never found one that got the tone I was looking for like this one. This is my second JHS pedals and I'm very happy with their products so far. They might even overtake ehx as my favorite pedal maker.
