Was kinda skeptical because I've never used the brand before but after reading the reviews I pulled the trigger. Pretty happy that I did too! Sturdy build with nice asethetics. All sorts of ways to control and dial in the monitor to whatever environment you are working with. Great bass response without it being overbearing. Have them oaured with my first generation Alesis MK1s and everything sounds beautiful. I would definitely recommend them to someone in the market.

I have had the pleasure of breaking these in the past couple of days. The stereo image they have is so great. The low end is great as well. Everything is flat and nothing is over exaggerated. I would definitely recommend these because of how good they sound and the price.

These are well balanced and pleasant to listen to. They are very flat and have done wonders for getting the dynamics in my mixes done well. There is a slight class-D amp white noise/hiss at a VERY low volume. It is not noticeable when mixing. For the money these are perfect!

Did plenty of research on Wich studio monitors would be able to suit my needs , and as far as getting TRUE sound frequency, that’s crisp and clear , these met my expectations AND SOME.. With enough pumping threw these bad boys , as well as the cool dip switch feature , the Kali Audio Lp 8s are a great choice for any home studio . Highly recommended !

These monitors rock. I have the 8" versions and they put out plenty of clean,clear, and accurate sound. Also, I don't hear any hiss from my monitors like I've heard some other people say. You won't be disappointed if you have these bad boys in your studio. Thanks Kali Audio for a great product.

I use this as a guitar cab at home. Feeding an amp/cab modeller into it, the LP-8 sounds great for this purpose. It also pulls double duty for general music listening.
I haven't used these for mixing yet but I'm skeptical the built-in room EQ switches will replace taking a proper measurement of the room.

I've had them only a week but they quickly have won me over. I also have JBL 305s and they are great little monitors and I will keep them but the Kalis have a better midrange and of course more bass due to 8" woofer and front firing port. Imaging is good and they have a wide sweet spot. These do not have any hiss unless you put your ear really close to the tweeter. I notice no hiss from a couple of feet away. Not sure but maybe they fixed that issue. All I need say is it's a pleasure each time I use them. I have not tested mix translations to outside speakers yet but I look forward to it. Also AMS rockstar payment plans make it easy to get new gear.

Love the Freq. I compared them right next to a pair of ADAM Audio T8V. These sounded much better/cleaner. I had them for a few weeks now and they've become my primary monitors in production. They completely exceeded my expectations.

Amazing quality for the price. EQ dip switches that you normally find at a much higher price tag. I noticed an immediate difference to my mix quality. These monitors are amazing. Great clarity through all frequencies. I love that the set up was easy and clear. There are clear diagrams to set up the dip switches for however your monitors are set up. Nothing short of amazing. If you’re on the fence, get off and order these.

I got a pair of these after reading good reviews about Kali, not a familiar name for me; I researched many different monitors and Kali seemed to stand up to all of them at the same price range; I’m glad I got them! Unbelievable response and quality; and best of all, no sub needed! Highly recommended

These Kali Audio LP-8 monitors provide such an excellent quality to my studio space. I have been reviewing a next set of monitors to purchase for a very long time and for a while I have read reviews on these monitors and a lot of people will consider them to be the best set of monitors in this price range. After purchasing them I noticed the quality and what everyone else has ben talking about. The stereo imaging field is really great and it provides a lot of detail inside the audio. The low-end is very tight and to be honest because of these monitors I can finally understand what it means to have a flat response. I would recommend these monitors to anyone.

These monitors sound way better than I imagined them being. I was taught my audio engineering chops in a studio with giant Westlake monitors and thought nothing would ever come close to what they sounded like. Enter the Kali LP-8, and I think they get pretty dang close. Super responsive and quite balanced frequency response/reproduction, I can't see anyone particularly going wrong with these on a budget. I record metal music with very low tunings and I've had no problem getting the most out of these monitors during mixing.
The little switches to change the speaker's response depending on its placement was a gorgeous touch, by the way!Very happy!

I purchased the Kali 8” monitors for my makeshift room while my permanent room is under construction. I set the switches for my application and used an RTA to flatten the EQ for my room. I have mixed 3 projects so far and I’m amazed at how well they sounded when played thru other devices(car stereo, computer,iPad, etc....). These things are definitely awesome and accurate. Especially for the price point. They will get loud when necessary and the bottom end is tight and solid. I think they have earned a permanent place in my room once it is completed. You would have to spend a lot more money to do better than the Kali 8” monitors.

Listen this is the first pair of speakers of this capacity I have owned and I can speak for all of my friends when I say this is the best purchase I have made in years. These speakers absolutely blew my expectations out of the water and I could not be happier.
Kali is very good company, and they are good people who came from a good company (JBL). I have known about these for 4 months and decided last week that I would buy them. After countless hours of research and scouring the internet for articles, reviews, videos and more, I pulled the trigger on these for the sale and the reputation.
I know there are other speakers out there that sound better, but they cost more and I firmly believe that for the money and as a first pair/upgrade/change or whatever you might be interested in buying these for, they are 100 percent worth it. Dont compare outside price!

I was hoping that these might “measure up”. I have used Yamaha HS8’s with a sub for a long time. I have had KRK’s, Adam’s, and Genelec’s, as well. This is obviously no fault of AMS, but don’t believe the hype. The dip switches don’t really have any effect on the sound, they sound like you have a blanket over the monitors, and the stereo separation is terrible. Now, let me sum up this way...
They are not as fatiguing as some, but that is the only positive. My mix room was professionally designed and built into my new house five years ago, so the environment is as good as it gets. I tried the Kali’s on my desk, on stands, and in different spots in relation to my other monitors. No change. I was very disappointed, but thankfully, AMS gives you 45 days. Thank you AMS! You’ll always have my business.
