The only drawback with Kysers is that they work great with some necks and terribly with others and unless you have been around enough guitars/necks/etc and know what you're getting, it COULD be an intonation issue.

Great Capo - only downside is the spring is very tight. Harder for my kids to use. I would buy it again though. Good product.

If you are just Learning as I am this Capo is the one to get. Quick and easy to move up or down yer fret board.
I would say yes the top and boattom are made well and the spring tension is awsome I don't think i will wear this thing out

Used these playing gospel, country, and bluegrass for over 25 years and never had one break or let me down. I know there are new styles that look cooler but Kyser capos have been around a long time and have never left me stranded which is really inconvenient when you're on stage. We all know how frustrating it is for a piece of gear to fail when it counts.
Well made. Long lasting design.
Light and pretty easy to operate.
Lifetime design and usefulness in my opinion.
