This is a very easy keyboard to figure out how to change the sounds. A lot of keyboards I’ve played have too many buttons and make it hard to change the settings… this also plays and sounds amazing!

This piano is brand new. The Keyboard is really good to play and the feeling of touch keys is really great. The thing is the leftmost black key is broken. It's loose and has the sound of "clin, clin". I will contact customer service to replace another one. I hope they can handle this well.

I bought the Korg D1 to properly learn to play piano on after noodling around on midi keyboards for years. The main reason I picked it was that it has the RH3 keybed, that as far as I know, has the best key action for the price-range, and I have not been disappointed. The D1 doesn't come with a lot of bells and whistles, but the plus side is that it has an extremely straightforward interface that is quick and easy to use. Its sounds and effects are good, but are limited and won't blow you away. The midi out will let you hook it up to any hardware, and its relatively small footprint means it can be good as a midi controller (keys only). I sometimes hook mine up to my Yamaha Reface CP for some sweet 70's electric piano tones.

I upgraded from a Yamaha P71 and enjoy playing on the RH3 keybed which feels like a real grand piano. It's a noticeable comparison to other keyboards that have plastic keys. I love all the extra controls that I didn't have before, being able to connect to my audio interface, the touch sensitivity, brilliance, and reverb onboard settings. It's definitely worth the money!

This keyboard is amazing at sound and very easy to configure. Use this in Church setting wanted something really good and affordable without the sacrifice of quality. Korg D1 didn't let us down and we enjoying the experience. Would recommend for any professional.

Just received the D1 I purchased here, unboxed and found one of the keys was broken / would not depress. Saw a number of reviews on Amazon of the D1 that were very similar. I probably should have listened to those. AMS customer service was very helpful and good, but they're out of the D1's and can't immediately ship a replacement. Not sure when more will be available. I'm sort of surprised a brand new, never unboxed keyboard could have this failure mode but several other purchases (on AMZ) have had the same problem. It sounds like Korg better get on this, it is either a product quality issue where pieces break off and block keys or it is a packaging issue.

I currently use a Montage 8 professionally, but I wanted something for home use that I could pair with my iPad. The D1’s built in sounds are okay and definitely useful, but paired with a great sample library/piano like the ravenscroft iOS piano the D1 is actually comparable to my Montage sound wise and slightly better feel wise. That’s a $40 piano with a $700 keyboard and $700 iPad with way more flexibility for me compared to the $4000 Montage. But the best part of it for me is the Rh3 action. It plays like a much more expensive keyboard than it actually is. If you’re looking for a great keyboard for pianoteq, ivory, etc. I’d definitely say try this first!

I have to say I go back and forth between brand names. Yamaha, Roland, Korg, etc. But the D1 has all you need to perform on a digital piano. It’d be easier to write what I don’t like about it - but there isn’t anything! All in all, the price, the sound, the quality let’s me give it an A+

Feel is amazing. Sounds great, as well. One real plus for me as an apartment dweller is the headphone jack provides excellent sound even with ordinary headphones. Almost all the sounds are usuable for me, though I prefer the 4 piano banks. It only takes a few seconds to dial in the sound I want whether through the headphones or my keyboard amp. My only regret is not having found this sooner. The feel and responsiveness to touch, though, is remarkable. It makes you want to play for hours.

I was looking for a new keyboard preferably with weighted keys and good piano sound. At first when I plugged it into the PA system every time I hit the keys the sounds would sustain. After an adjustment of inputs on my end it was like a thing of beauty. Playing the weighted keys was so smooth and much easier to play than my previous Kawai Non weighted keyboard.I love the weighted keys and it also has a metronome. For a semi beginner like myself the piano sounds are great. I bought this KORG in December 2019 as christmas present to myself and I couldn't be happier. It definitely met my expectations and I would definitely recommend buying this beauty.

This is the easiest piano I have found to set up and play quickly that feels like a grand piano and every feature that you would use in a live performance is easy to get to on the fly.
I had a Yamaha MO8 and I still love that keyboard but the Korg feels better and is better for improv type playing that I do every once in a while.
Thanks AMS for the easy payment plan so I could get my new Korg while waiting for my MO8 to sell.

This piano has amazing beautiful town and strikingly similar play ability to a grand piano. I am a Music major and new to playing piano and this instrument has been Stellar in helping me to gain the skills I need to play because it closely emulates the pianos that I use at school. The Price is Right and AMS is wonderful payment plan made this very doable for me. Highly recommend.

Don't let the looks of this slim, sleek digital piano fool you. The sounds are stunning; and are 2nd only to the AWESOME feel of this piano! I could not be happier with my new Korg D1.
I'm in my early 60's---and I've been playing for over 50 years, so I guess you could say I've been around the block more times than the Good Humor Man hehe. :) I play jazz, blues, classic rock----but not in that order lol
Anyways, the reviews I've read about the keybed of this piano were not great---but then if you've been accustomed to the action of a synth, then yeah, you could complain about the touch being,'too heavy'. Players that have built strength in their fingers will fall in love with the action of this piano! I did, and have. :) Especially at this price.
Sure, you could buy a digital stage piano that has more bells and whistles, but I highly doubt it would not feel like the Korg D1! It's a dream to play, and like I said, it sounds and looks fantastic!
