The Kronos comes close to being the ultimate keyboard I've wished to have for 50 years.
The breadth of sound engines, the sampling, sequencing the polyphony, the programmability of combis with regard to samplinglylayers, keyboard zones, velocity switching, delay, MIDI filtering etc make it possible for me to cover parts on our records that we'd normally have to omit live.
I love the set list capability which allows me to program our entire show and even get an on-screen chart of sorts.
Negative points are the cost, weight, the lack of any mechanism to add intervals within a key (it's only fixed/chromatic intervals), the inability to display sheet music in set list, the very very long boot up time, lack of good documentation (IMHO), a somewhat clunky sampling architecture (IMHO), and the UI tends not to be very intuitive.
But despite those "wants", it's still the best by far and I absolutely love mine. I do quite a few of my most complicated gigs with nothing OTHER than a Kronos and a keyboard stand and a pair of IEMs. I'm packed, setup, broke down and home before almost any other member of the band.

I’ve wanted a Kronos for many years. I’ve always been a Yamaha type of dude but this instrument has changed the game! The sounds are awesome and can be molded to my liking. I love the sound engines as well!
There’s never a dull moment when I turn this board on. American Musical Supply helped make buying my dream board possible!

I couldn't be more satisfied! The Kronos 2 is just jam packed with sounds for almost anything, and man what amazing sounds they are! Than many engines and superb stereo samples galore...plus the 88 key hammer-action feels legit without being fatiguing. Thank you Korg for an incredible product.

I’ve owned various keyboards and this one by far is going to “up my game” and should take my performance to a level I’ve not experienced. All the equipment I’ve purchased through recent years has been from AM and I could not be happier.

The Korg Kronos is the flagship centerpiece of my music production workstation. As a stand-alone powerhouse, creativity is never far away. I often capture ideas and arrangements using the incredible sequencer then immediately transfer the audio by using the Kronos as my audio device for seamless integration into Logic Pro X. The Kronos makes me feel like a kid in a candy store when using it as an controller with other software that require a lot of knobs, sliders and unlimited midi control over its parameters. How are The sounds? I’m glad you asked! The Kronos library is massive and has the best sounds I’ve encounter in a workstation. It does not matter what style of music you produce the Korg Kronos is what you want in front of you driving you to create your next hit!!!!!

When I first recieved the Kronos 88 keys, the board definitely had weight to it and when I opened it up and set it up and started to play it was a very wonderful experience. The size of the screen makes it easy to get to the functions of the synthesizer. You have the ability as well use the slider knobs and buttons to change the sounds to how you would like them to sound. With 9 sound engines and the ability to record you will be able to music for years to come. I like that you can connect an external cd/dvd player up to it and save your music up to it. If you are a beginning keyboardist it may be a little bit difficult to use because of the many functions that it has but if you purchase the book for the kronos it will help you to discover the rest of the functions on this powerhouse. But you will be able to what you want to do no this synthesizer with no problem.

Like I said..it Blows My Mind..i'll start jamin on some groove..and I build and build and Build till i'm screamin at the top of my lungs..i got the 88 limited for home studio and next I'm getting the 76 note for gigs.. I will midi up to myPa3Xle..like said screeming..please check me out on you tube..Christian Krawczyn..."Relax- Enjoy" and the "Answer"

First of all, this is an extremely well made keyboard with excellent fit and finish. The action is the most realistic feeling of any keyboard in my opinion. The controls on the face of the Kronos and touch screen are very intuitive. I haven't read the directions in depth at all and it has been very straightforward to change sounds and find categories of sounds. The sounds of the Kronos are so inspiring and I have made a lot of head way in my piano playing since having started playing this! If you can afford the Kronos, or can finance it, it is a sound investment for any musician with a solid need for a keyboard workstation in their home studio. I am quite happy with my purchase, and was very pleased with the 2 day shipping from fedex. The Kronos came brand new with no damage or blemishes whatsoever (much to my relief). The box it comes in is very large so get a buddy to help you move it where you want it, esp if you're taking it upstairs. Overall, a great purchase experience!
