I’ve used a great many synths in my day, but I’ve never done modular synthesis before. This little synth definitely delivers! Between the instruction manual and online tuotorials, I’ve dialed in tons of great sounds and sequences, and I can’t wait to figure out more.

The Volca Modular is a great entry I to the modular world, with all the bells and whistles of that process, however without the price tag and extra pains from setting up the power supplies. Even though, I have Moog modular items, I tend to gravitate to this more. It's so immediate, yet deep ti explore! This is a volca you will need!

The volca series put the fun in all forms of synthesis. This is a great addition to the series. This will be a great device for an adults and kids. Do not hesitate to buy one of this or any other unit. American musical supply provide a great service.

This thing does so many...things...I think, I’m not sure. Read the manual finally and fell into an all-encompassing, swirling, globular blur of time filled with miniature patch cables, dirt, and echos of a Alien-esque soundtrack spinning in the back of my mind like a carousel of low pass filters, low frequency oscillators, and cackling laughter. A long time has passed since that fortuitous night....I dream about it. Once the storms have passed I will venture back in, not sure if I’ll make it back out....

A Semi Modular Synth with a unique Sequencer for a couple hundred is hard to beat! Plus it runs on batteries and sounds really cool.

Good investment on an instrument that provides one the ability to experiment w sound. Great portability, and the instrument is built solid! I’m going to buy one more along with the new Volca Drum and rack mount them. Together, this Volca configuration will work nicely with my other Eurorack gear!
