Product Rating Product Review Great size, weight and TONE! Quick mods yield boutique goodness on the cheap. Swap the pre-amp and phase inverter tubes (V1, V2) to long-plate Sovtec 12AX7LPS. Next the Power tubes (6V6),change out to JJ's 6V6S. Lastly, replace the speaker with a Warehouse Guitar Speaker(WGS)Veteran 10. Forget fussy break-in to hear the change, this swap-out will blow your mind how good this guy sounds. Tried several tube/speaker combinations and this was the winner for clean and gain driven heaven. That inexpensive speaker is magic!

Product Review I bought this amp to fill in while my PRS Archon 25 amp was in the shop. I must say I've been thoroughly impressed by it's robust design and ease of use. It has a clarity and bell like quality that is quite pleasing. I don't think you can go wrong with this little champ. All a person needs really.

Product Review This little 10 in speaker 10 watt amp is absolutely the best value for a small combo amp. It doesn’t sound boxy like most 10 in speaker combos, it has great low end response some say it’s dark sounding but I find it perfect for my Tele and Strat. I’m running it in stereo with a Peavey JSX mini colossal 8 in speaker combo which is much brighter. Paired together the sound is quite good. But the cub 10 is really great sounding by its self.

Product Review This small amp packs a punch with volume and tone. At 10 watts of Class A/B power, there's no need to put the volume past 2 in an apartment living room. Would buy another one to run a stereo set up! Great balanced tone with plenty of low end.

Product Review Tubes have rattled since the day it arrived, even at low volumes and low gain. Speaker is now blown but that took a couple months so I’ll give it 2 stars instead of just the one.

Product Review The Laney Club 10 is full of tone, well worth the money. It's small light weight and that makes it easy to hall around.

Product Review Awesome amp, simple controls, volume, tone, gain, (that's all that's needed). Great clean and distorted tones, takes pedals like a champ. If a small tube amp is what your after, you won't go wrong here.

Product Review Is this the best sounding 10-15 watt tube amp available? No. But if you are looking for enough power to play a small club, light, simple and a small footprint - this little amp delivers. Loud and with great tone (although it is voiced a little dark IMO). I sent back a Vox ac10 I purchased elsewhere as a demo - it sounded better but only marginally and it was twice the size. I play bottleneck blues in open G and this thing does everything I need it to at an incredibly low price.

Product Review Old guy, new player, new Fender Champion 40. I didn't think I would want to spend the money on a small tube amp. Then I ran across this Laney Cub 10 as a "Scratch and Dent" at a significant savings. Though reluctant, I wondered what, if anything, I was missing by not playing through a small tube amp at bedroom sound levels. Truthfully, I was expecting to be disappointed...I was NOT! I can't play worth a damn, but I've got a good ear for tune and tone. Even though The Fender was 10 days past the Amazon return date and I'll have to eBay or CL it, it was worth it. LOVE the sound of this little amp.

Product Review Can't buy a better tube amp for the money. Takes pedals without any tone issues. Crank the gain to 10 and use the volume knob for your sound.

Product Review Was ready to return. Had UPS Label to sent back. The overall tone was good but I was thinking it was to small for what I would needed it for. I mainly play keys for my Daughters Band and do much work in Studio, but Guitar is first instrument. I have many choices within price range give or take $100. Knowing how Live Sound works and Mic'ing up I will make this a Keeper because of the tone for the Money. Anything closer in tone and features would cost much more. Take your time and get your tone right, this is a great product for size and the money. Hope this helps.

Product Review First thanks to AMS, the shipping company beat up the first one and they had me a replacement in 5 days. I'm a huge fan of low watt combo's and heads. I've owned a bunch of them in all price ranges. This one is better than most even those costing twice as much. The stock ruby tubes and speaker made by HH are both fine. Nice not to have to change the tubes and speaker as soon as you get the amp to make it sound good. With the speaker out line i played it thru 4 different 10's and one 12. All sounded a little different but not significantly better than the stock speaker. I changed the pre amp tubes to tung sol's and it reduced the gain a bit and smoothed out the overall tone but if high gain is your thing leave the originals in. Lots of clean and over drive territory to explore using the gain and volume knobs. For a grab and go combo for practice, jams and small venues, this amp is great. For $200 bucks this is a ridiculously good tube amp.

Product Review It's small. It's light. It's got 2 6v6's. It's $200 bucks. Come on!! What's there to think about. It's loud (used it at rehearsal). It's got amazing tube tone (crank the volume, tone, and use the gain as your volume). Fantastic tube power tube distortion! It's somewhat dark, but in a good way. Not real midrangy like and EL84 amp, more lows. I like that. Pro Jr.-now $419 are you kidding me? This amp kills it for clean and distorted sound. Did I say it was 200 bucks?

Your general opinion of this product. I have owned a variety of tube amps over a 40 year period. The Laney CUB10 has clarity and balls when you want it. I hooked it up to a Marshall 8412 cabinet and cranked it up. Full bodied punch and creamy overdrive with sustain that lasts forever. It accepts pedals extremely well and has enough volume to gig. It won't make your ears bleed but for 10 watts, it's pretty impressive. Quality is par with the other Laney products I have experienced. I expect it to last a long time. N/A. It's an amp!! Tone is awesome!! This amp may be my go to rig, once I gig with it a while. Clean or over-driven it sounds great. Great 6V6 tube amp sound. Double packed. I'm impressed how AMS packs all products that I have purchased in the past 5 years. Well finished and solid cabinetry. Too early to tell. Just picked it up yesterday. I expect it will outlast me....

Outstanding quality! It is very tight and well made. I have only had a few weeks but it will last as a friend of mine is a Phd. in electronics and invents vacum tubes . He took a look at the specs and loved the Laney and so do I. Your general opinion of this product. Excellent sound and pedal friendly. It is LOUD and clean or nasty when picked hard. A perfect all tube ab amp. Get one before the price goes up. It is a amp!!! All tube, think early Page and sweet Gilmour.

it's light and appears to be well made. The first one I had lasted about an hour then quit...the second one is doing fine! Your general opinion of this product. Best bang for your buck in small amp if you're looking for clean tones. I've tried many of the small amps and this on is the best by a far. up to about 3 one the gain and the volume wide open you get beautiful cleans (I'm using a MIM Tele). After that you can continue to increase the gain and get into some nice overdrive ( I don't do any high gain stuff). Stock tubes are great, the stock speaker is passable, but plug it into a cab and it really sounds big. Tone has plenty of bass, more than any of the small amps I've tried. Highs are there but subdued, easy to bring out with a brighter speaker but the stock one work fine. Neat looking cab, well assembled. You can play it stock with great results.

Outstanding. Built like a TANK! Very solid construction and it feels solid and dependasble, I'm very pleased with the construction of this amp..VERY Durable! I just got it but judging from the reviews on "you-tube" People all speak of it's reliability so it's reputation is good and AMS gives you an extra year. How can you lose? Your general opinion of this product. For the money all I ca say is Buy This Amp!!. It i shead and shoulders over a Blackhear for less money witha GREAT tone second to only a Blues Jr but over $300 less. The best back up and second amp any person could own. I only wish it had reverb it would get a 5 It responds to your playing very nicely. The harder you hit your chords and notes the more Voice you give to the amp..Something you will NEVER find on a Solid State amp Second (IMO) only to the blues Jr and the ACC1C and perhaps to the Cub 12 but it has it's own voice and it is one excellent sounding amp. The PERFECT "second" amp Excellent looking just the right size to "Grab and Go" and very solidly buily. A GREAT second amp only behind a Blues Jr or a VOX ACC1C....This is the best second amp you can buy.The clean is amazing It's an amp-not a guitar

Only had it for a few weeks, but so far it's been great. It doesn't weigh much, but feels sturdy. The Tolex looks good. It's all British retro-ie looking. There's not a lot to it really. Just turn it on and play. I'll let you know. So far, so good. Your general opinion of this product. My friend has a laney solid state amp that I loved so I decided to order a Laney amp for myself. Went with the tubes and very glad I did. It's warm, and fuzzy (when you turn the gain up). Even my little cheapie telecaster sounded great through it. It's easy to transport, has a decent amount of volume, and I think it will be a great little recording amp. Easy to use. Big fat knobs on the top of the amp if you need to make adjustments while playing. Warm and full of mids. The highest treble setting was still pretty mellow. The gain is really nice. I'm mostly an acoustic musician, but for the first time in awhile I have the electric urge. Has a lot to do with this amp, I think. It looks really cool. I like equipment that inspires me to play and this totally does. I Just turn it on, let it warm up, then lay down on my bean bag chair and play until I pass out. Oh! There was action all over the place.

Seems solid. Some good stuff starting to come out of China. Wish it was USA made, but then it would be much more expensive. Cage on the back is good for protection of the innards, but the cord now has to be coiled and wrapped in the supplied velcro strap - just an extra 10 seconds in breakdown time Only gigged it twice in the couple weeks I've owned it so no real value in me rating this - but it's still works! Your general opinion of this product. Fantastic sound, build solid - a real sleeper - hit the buy button, you won't be disappointed

Seems well built. Haven't had it for long. The first Cub 10 I received made crackling noises, so I sent it back. No problems with the new one. Laney has a warranty, which is great. Your general opinion of this product. I bought this as an apartment-friendly tube amp. It gets great sound out of the box. No bells and whistles. N/A N/A N/A
