After connecting power cable you have to move wire around till power led lights. DC power plug needs to firm going into amp. The Laney STI interface cable between smartphone and amp causes intermittent sound problems. The 3.5mm jacks are not tight. Cheap construction as far as those parts.

The tones this little amp can make by itself is are surprisingly good. It's loud enough for practice, which is why I got it. The delay is great for slap back, & it takes my pedals well.
