Really like the speaker configuration in this unit. Has plenty of power on tap to fill the biggest rooms we play in. Excellent feedback control at good volumes. Ditched my pro8 for this and would never look back. Other products are under powered compared to this. I have used it for about 4 gigs now and its the number 1 PA I take out. Sold the pro8 already although the pro 8 had wider sound disbursement, I really don't miss it. Even talked a buddy in to getting one. Unit should at lease come with a bag for the satellites. The configuration i got did not. Try this or the Peavey LN if you need power.

This is my third LD 28 G2 column speaker, not a replacement but in addition! The construction of this unit blows away the competition and the sound quality is above and beyond expectation. I've sampled others and they just did not meet the level of quality and sound reproduction as this unit. Highly recommend from conference meetings to a DJ gig 100 to 150 people.

I've had a # of systems from Alto and EV, but this has the best overall sound and is really dynamic! Even with just 1 unit it provides surprisingly great bass, smooth mid-range, and clear highs. Has made my solo gigs much easier; no lifting big speakers onto stands, and the sound is better! Easy to adjust bass and overall volume on speaker, Bluetooth makes it easy to connect with my tablet, just wish it had app for more equalization; setup is half what it used to take me - I don't even need a mixer most of the time. 1 handles at least 150 people, am considering 1 more, that would be a fantastic system for venues up to 300 people.

Great unit!
I use it at open mics, medium solo gigs, & band assemblies. It has been very easy to transport & assemble while delivering fantastic sound without the use of effects. I will soon add a mixing board to tap into the effects offered & can just imagine how intense the production would sound. This is an affordable unit of great quality & performance.
I would highly recommend this product.....

Not sure how I ever lived without these speakers! They got delivered right as I was leaving for a wedding. I unloaded my old speakers and loaded these up. I unboxed them at the gig and just like that, they were the best decision I've ever made!

Single array style unit that can be used to compliment your current system or stand alone. The only Con that I discovered is that you need to be careful in how hard you drive the subwoofer. This seems to be more of an acoustic style system then Club!

I bought this to do karaoke, it sounds great in my house and I feel like it will sound even better in a bar. I’ll update my review after that. I took off 1 star for the time being because when I was hooked up to the Bluetooth playing music. I turned it up and one of the tweeters made a funny noise. I really think the quality of sound you run through it makes a difference. Bluetooth is not as good of a quality input as my computer into my mixer out to the speaker.

As a pro dj, I often explore new equipment. I have had my eye on this speaker for a while now, and decided recently to buy one, figuring i would return it if it wasn't amazing. Well, I am ordering 3 more. I have no problem comparing this to the EV and RCF colmn array speakers. I feel that these are as good or better, with a much friendlier price tag. If you are looking to get into an elite level column array speaker, and are not caught up in the game of having to have certain brand names in order to hang with your friends, then stop what you are doing and buy an LD Systems Maui G2 28. I consider this the best speaker purchase ever for me.

I've played in rock bands professionally since 1978. Toured the country through the years with 24 foot trucks full of double 15 "scoops" on the low end, Altec A7 mid cabs, and Renkus Heinz horns up top.
And of course racks full of a x-over and heavy power amps.
Had to have a 3 man crew to move all this stuff and set it up and run it.
Not anymore!
My new LD Maui 28 G2's replace all that gear and more!
And it all fits in the back of my Jeep Wrangler with spare room for my guitar rig.
Just amazing.
And the sound?
The technology of these speakers has given us a super warm sound with absolutely no "shrillness" or harshness.
My band plays clubs here in Las Vegas now. And we are told over and over that we have THE best sound of any other band playing these same venues.
I highly recommend this system to any pro or semi-pro band.
