I loved the first one so much that I bought a second! These speakers look and sound amazing for ceremonies and cocktail hour. I even use them as fill for large areas. I’m bringing one to my beach wedding in St Thomas. They have so many inputs so I’m using a battery powered lapel mic, an iPad for music, and recording using the mix out xlr on the back all battery powered! Very convenient and worth every penny. I’m sure I’ll buy a 3rd soon!

What an amazing product LD has designed in these Maui 5 Go Ultra's. I had previously used an early design of these speakers for an event (Wedding). They were one of the first companies to offer a white speaker option. Fast forward 6-7 years later I was in the market to expand my speaker sound to allow for zone speakers with an extra kick to pump it up if I needed to. I purchased these last year to fill the extra rooms at the One Brooklyn Hotel in Brooklyn, NY and ran them through a mixer board for AUX/Zone to allow for independent sound control and they didn't disappoint. The fact they are battery powered along with Bluetooth is just the icing on the cake. I have been very happy with adding these speakers to my set-up and continue to use them on all of my events. The clients always notice and appreciate the crisp and clean look and sound. Great job LD Systems.

This speaker was surprising, I DJ out here in Southern California Winery area, this speaker has made me stand out from other DJ's, with this battery operated speaker in remote ceremony spots at the winery's allowing me to connect my iPad via Bluetooth for the Ceremony music , and connect a microphone for the officiant, has helped me book more Weddings. I have used the Maui 5 at backyard Bar BQ events, small School dances, Karaoke gatherings, and as a booth monitor. I am thinking of buying another Maui 5 for my small Gig events.

This is a great sounding BATTERY or plugged in powered speaker. The battery lasts for a while. I have 2 of these. As a mobile dj, these are perfect for ceremonies or small events! You can’t go wrong.

LD Systems has made a great speaker better by adding battery power. These have played for me a few hours just with the rechargeable battery located in the bottom of the tower stack.. Very clear, has inputs for all devises, 1/8", 1/4", xlr and bluetooth. Buy a pair and use them anywhere =)

One word WOW! This is my go to ceremony/cocktail hour speaker. The sound that this produces is in a class by itself. The highs are perfect for my applications with just enough of a low end. The mixer on the back of the speaker helps you achieve the levels you want. How can it get better?? Well this offers Bluetooth which takes no time to connect. Is that it?? No there is more!! Being battery powered takes this to another level. I can do a wedding ceremony anywhere.. no need to worry about power. So they want to get married on the 18th hole of a golf course? No problem! This is a game changer!! If you are debating on to purchase this or not; don’t delay add it to your cart and be happy.

Great portability, but it's sound overall is okay straight in. I'd be happy on an island but if you've got a sound board to use with it, you should use it.

I´m a DJ and use it for all my outdoor and indoor events. up to 40 people. The Sound is great, also for singing. Battery last very long at full power, more than 5 hours. Very easy to use. Transport bags are well padded

I love this system. I have two in white and two in black. Having the battery as the bottom section of the column is awesome. I bought the first set of these last summer and two more last week. Checking for another unit today as a gift for a friend. They sound fantastic and I recommend them to anyone who needs 2-4 channels per unit. Perfect mobile set-up. With a hot signal going in, they are loud and clear for hours on a single charge. The Bluetooth connects smoothly and sound is clear. Good range from my ipad to the column as well when using bluetooth.

Awesome speaker for ceremonies and cocktail hour. Bass is a little week but it works. Best part of this little speaker is the bluetooth, walked over 200’ and never lost signal.

It is hard to believe that portable system like this has such good sound quality. The battery life on this unit plays for hours, it does last well over 24 hrs. Real clean highs, mids and the lows will blow you away. I loved them !!!

This thing is huge! from youtube video I was expecting this thing to a bit smaller, and the sound louder. I tested it using Spotify and that might not be the best app to use because the sound isn't very loud. I actually had to turn the knob on the 5 go almost all the way to hear it really loud. I will continue testing it and see if i'm sold on this product.
