This is the 2nd one I've purchased and I'm a big fan. I bought this one so I wouldn't have to swap between basses. I also wanted each to match the finish of the basses it was supporting. This strap nicely distributes the weight of the bass comfortably on the shoulder.

I got this strap to go with my Thunderbird bass it's well worth the cost! It seems like a much smaller instrument hanging on my shoulder! If you are on the fence with making this purchase, don't be! Besides American Musical Supply will guarantee that you are satisfied... I am for sure! Cheers

Did not purchase this for myself. Got it for my brother. He loves it, super comfortable and it being extra wide really takes stress off the shoulder and gets dispersed throughout so it's great for long jam sessions!

I've never had a really wide strap before and I must say they are awesome. This being made of leather I know it will last a long time. I have an old one that I've probably been using for well over 25 years! This new one has internal padding and is extra wide at 4 inches so it really takes a load off your shoulders while playing.

I purchased this particular 4" wide strap for my 6 string guitars because I seemed to have pinched a nerve in my neck and waring a guitar is actually becoming painful. I'm trying anything I can think of to help the situation. For $65 it seems to be of good quality and it disperses the guitars weight more evenly than a 2 or 3' strap. My Grandpa used to say the first hundred years is the hardest. At 64 I'm beginning to understand. It's actually pretty comfortable and softens up with use.
