This is the first time with a cabinet like this. Im still working out the bugs with the learning curve on my end. I do love some of the spearker sims and this adds a lot of possibilities. Its alot lighter than other cabinets I've owned. Works really well with my Helix.

I became aware of FRFR amps when looking for a more portable way to get live sound out of my Helix Floor, rather than carting my Vox AC-130 2x12 around. This is my first FRFR amp purchase, so I did a lot of research prior to purchase, rather than my typical GAS splurge. On paper, the Helix Powercab 112 Plus seemed to offer everything I wanted, so I made the jump. Needless to say, I'm not disappointed. This amp is able to produce a tremendous range of amp and cab sim sounds via IR, which may be either loaded directly into the amp, or run out of the Helix. The various effects out of the Helix sound stellar, considering this is a 100% solid state setup. You see, I'm a guitarist of the 90s, and the thought of running a multi-effects board into a solid state amp always gave me the chills. Fractal did a lot to change the perception of people like me, which is why I jumped for the Helix (which I love) and then further made the plunge to FRFR. This is something I should have done much sooner.

I purchased this in a leap of faith after purchasing a Helix Floor and needing an FRFR amp/speaker for it. I tried the powercab 112(non plus Version) and did not like it, but the 112+ has a different direct input specifically for the helix and damn does it sound amazing! I've been taking it to my gigs and it holds up super well against a full band!

This cab has power, tone, and versatility. Did I mention light weight? I own 2 of them and running them stereo feels like heaven. I use the xlr outs and the crisp clean, dirt mud, and heavy grunge sings. Quick easy setup for all size gigs. Make sure you get one. Better yet buy 2. You won’t be disappointed. I PROMISE!!!!!

This a solid piece of gear. Paired it with my Helix unit and now I can approximate tube tone at low levels. Add in the direct outs as well as the different speaker modes and you can't go wrong. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was it's priced a little too high for a powered speaker.

So sometimes I'm a dum dum and buy stuff without checking. This time it costs me about $800, but I'm not mad about it at all, lemme tell you why. So initially I was looking to replace my old Line 6 HD100 Bogner amp/Mesa Triple Rec speaker cab with a smaller studio version that I could record with. I figured the amp modeling industry has had 5 years to dial in tones and wanted an all in one package albeit smaller. Did not realize that this was a speaker modeler, not amp modeling. Whoops! That meant in order to get what I wanted I now either have to send this back and find what I intended to get or spend another $1600 for the Helix or $2k+ for Axe FX. Before I plugged it in I didn't realize how big a deal speaker modeling is. Obviously I own a really nice Mesa Boogie cab so it was never really an issue getting the tone I wanted, but I was limited. I fortunately had amplitube maxx on my PC so I routed it to the powercab, and whoa! Patches that sounded like crap suddenly sounded amazing coming through this cab, despite the speaker modeling that already goes on in Amplitube, the speaker modeling ON THE POWERCAB adds a whole new depth to it and makes those patches sound amazing. Definitely not getting rid of this thing. Looks like I'm getting a Line 6 Helix.

I use the Powercab II Plus with my Helix. The "Flat" FRFR mode is perfect when paired with the Helix, producing very rich, lush sounds. The tone, power and capabilities of this amp are enormous. I can free up CPU on my Helix by running IR's within the cab itself giving me much more freedom to be creative with other effects. I typically use the AES/EBU in to connect my Helix to the Powercab. This is a great feature in and of itself because it simplifies my setup. It frees up the other outputs on my helix to route elsewhere and allows me to have a more dynamic sound. If not using this amp with a Helix processor it also can do speaker modeling for that amp-in-the-room sound. For its size this cab can put out some serious sound. It it very lightweight but well-built and great for gigging.
I have been very happy with my purchase and I will definitely be ordering a a second one to run in stereo.

Got this to use with HX Stomp on my pedal board was hoping to save space and weight for gigs using just the Powercab Plus instead of the tube amps and speaker cabs normally used. Ill keep the tube amps in studio for recording the Powercab Plus will be for live situations it is an awesome multipurpose unit its great as a line out/direct to house PA if needed can store 128 IR,s on it (helps to save banks on HX stomp), is plenty loud for small to medium venues also been doing outdoor gigs since the covid stuff and it is a workhorse sounds fantastic. Line 6 hit this 1 out of the park!

Love the flexibility the Powercab gives me when playing! I consider myself a tone freak, but for the money, I was astonished on how easy it is to play or program. Highly recommend this system. Also, love it can be turned into a monitor for PA capabilities too.

Works great as an onstage monitor or speaker. Has enough power for a small venue,(or to hear over my drummer!). Took off a star because I don't think the included speaker models are useable. Better with downloaded IRs, or if you just use it in flat mode. I'm using with a Pod HD 500X that I have spent a lot of time tweaking so I use mostly in flat mode. Good overall at this price. The wood construction gives it a better tone than similarly priced plastic frfr or speaker cabs.

I found the Line 6 Power Cab 112 Plus to be an amazing product. The versatility is impressive. I pair it with a Line 6 Helix and can program elements into the cab to free up space on my DSP in the Helix unit. The tones are unbelievable! Although I've had it for 3 weeks I am getting the kind of sounds you want to hear in the "font of the house". This product exceeds my expectation!

Perfect match for the Helix, but would be amazing with any modeler. The FRFR mode is enough, but they didn’t stop there; using the speaker mode adds another dimension. It truly feels like there’s an amp in the room. It is also super intuitive and user friendly.

If you're a mad scientist and want to dial in any tone you want without typical amp qualities influencing that...get this. I use it in conjunction with the Helix rack with foot pedal and a Variax guitar. The tone choices are infinite. I have a tube amp as well but it really colors my tones more than I want most of the time. The tube amp is fantastic for very specific tones but I can easily match them with this speaker and the Helix. Fantastic purchase and compliment to my other Line 6 gear!

This product pairs perfectly with my line 6 products Helix rack,Hx Fx, pod. I no longer have to spend hours messing around with trying to get multiple setups from all genres of music through one amp this is it! It tilts back so I can blast myself out and no one else now front of house can relax and mix away. It's light,loud and takes up little space on stage.

I'm primarily a tube amp user--big, bulky amps that require maintenance, but sound amazing. I was looking for something smaller that could go into the back seat of a car but still be loud enough and sound good enough. The Helix paired with the PowerCab does the job well. The PowerCab 112 Plus, to be so small, sounds so full and huge and competes with a loud drummer. It also faithfully produces the sounds of whatever patches are programmed into your modeling unit. Very good.

Better than I thought it would be. Helix is an awesome piece of machinery, but it misses some of the simplicity of jazz and clean tones. This completes the package. If you are a helix owner, you won’t go wrong with this and will be happy with the pick up of tones. I firmly believe this is a moat for helix owners.

These amps are superb in both quality and sound. This is the second one I bought to run them in stereo via the Line 6 Link Cable and paired with my Helix The range of tones I get out of this thing are awsome and after 3 months with it I'm still impressed with what I can dial up with them. I've been a 4 twelve cabinet player with numerous heads my entire life, but since purchasing this setup my Marshals, Friedmans and Mesa's have all sat quite. Again, they are tone masters with pleanty of power to serve you well in the studio, on the stage or in your house. Thanks also to AMS for your convenient payment plans! It's great for those of us who are sick of credit cards.

Since I purchased the Helix Line 6, I got rid of my amps however after a couple months using it, I started to desire the nostalgia of an amp on stage - it didn't necessarily mess with head during live performances; I just enjoyed how it resonated in a room (especially with great acoustics).
I also wanted to take full advantage of the flexibility and capability of the Helix pedal by plugging my electric guitar into the input and my acoustic guitar into the auxiliary and routing them to the amp.
This amp is loud(125db SPL), lightweight and easy to customize...it's worth a shot.

It definitely works, but I have sat with this item attempting to dial it in using the HeadRush pedal board and the Boss GT-500. Does not produce full sound experience and most setting muffle your tone. Keep in mind I did not use the Line6 Pedal Board with it, maybe it works better with that, but for the 699 price tag I could have purchased an entire new amplifier dedicated to my pedalboards.

I got the power cab plus a few weeks ago and it is a fantastic piece of gear. It sounds awesome, loud, and it gives you the amp in the room feeling. I have loaded impulse responses to it and it is a totally different animal. Did I mention it is loud.
