This ukulele really plays well and looks great!! I continue to buy from AMS because they are always will to help, I didn’t know much about these but my daughter wanted a nice one and this is the one I was pointed to. Super great people, great prices, overall the best place( and my only place) to buy musical instruments.

Beautiful instrument, keeps tune fairly well after the first few days, great electric sounds, and great acoustic as well.
Only thing I would change are the direction of the power, treble and bass pickups - they go the opposite direction of most other instruments

I’ve been a guitarist for centuries but I have never learned to play the uke so I bought one for me and one for my daughter and though I haven’t played it much yet, it is beautiful and sound and made of Koa beautiful inlay,,, quite satisfied

I’ve been looking for a great ukulele for a while, throughly researching what I wanted in style and sound. This ukulele is that. The sounds are clean and resonates loud. The finish is perfect and solid. If you are in the market for one, I can not suggest highly enough that this is what you want. You will not be disappointed.

When I recently retired and dusted off my bucket list, I had to come to the realization that for many entries I would no longer be able to physically complete them, but you are never too old to learn how to play an instrument and on the upside we don't have to have the physique of a twenty something either. Learning to play the ukulele has been a dream of mine since I was a child. After extensive research of watching unboxing, playing, and expert recommendations on You Tube, I had narrowed my choices down to three ukuleles. When I searched "where to buy" on line for this uke, AMS was the store that came up first and with their no interest payment plan, no credit check, and price match policy, I was sold. None of the pictures online do this little uke any justice, beautiful warm Koa, stunning abalone inlay around the sound hole and 5 abalone inlaid waves in progressive stages depicting the influence of the moon. The action is nice and low which is a plus for arthritis sufferers like myself. I have not purchased an amp yet so I cannot speak to the sound using the onboard electronics, there are several Reviews on YouTube that do, but this little uke has a big voice even without them. Which I found surprising given that the body is only 2 1/2" deep, so if you are shaped like me, a Volkswagen with all my "junk in the trunk" in the front coupled with T-Rex arms, makes this is a comfortable instrument to learn. The gig bag is a pretty standard lightly padded gig bag, but on the plus side, the bag has a nice large zippered pocket on the front and the zipper on the bag itself unzips all the way around the bottom edge, so no fighting to take the uke in or out of the bag.
