This mixer is laid out great and is well designed, but... One huge problem. If switched on after speakers are powered, it sends out a brutal audio pop (post faders) that is quite strong. If I had known about this, I probably wouldn't have purchased it. My old Behringer never did that. I just have to remember to always switch it on first.

I use this mixer for talkback, backing tracks and keyboards. I have had no issues and everything sounds great with plenty of headroom. I love the aux 3/4 feature as well.

This thing has been very useful to me. I've used it in my rehearsal space in order to split my wireless vocal to my keyboard amp and to the mains. And then out for performing I have used it to be able to convert my two keyboards from 1/4 inch to XLR by using the 1/4 inch instrument jack input, sending keyboard 1 to the left channel and then keyboard 2 to the right channel and taking those main outs using XLR cables to our snake which then goes to the main board.
I would like it to have more mic preamp inputs but it has the 3 and so I can't complain too much as I've been able to use the mixer in a couple of situations which solves a problem I had before I had it.
I would recommend this to anyone who needs a small mixer for just mixing or for applications like mine where we needed to get creative. It has no generated noise so it is a good piece of equipment.

This Mackie fit my needs perfectly im a solo act. I use channel 1 for guitar, 2 for backing tracks and three for vocals i plug in my in ear monitor to the aux send and set to gig. The mixer is quiet, the preamps are great this mixer is priced higher than most in it's class but it has options other don't for example inserts for channel 1&2,the aux send, both xlr and trs main out.

Love the product but unfortunately Ive come to the conclusion I need more XLR channels. Luckily AMS is awesome and have 45 days to return for a new product! Going with the 14 channel instead!
