It would be close to impossible to review my gear from AMS. I couldn’t actually tell you the amounts of times I’ve used this amazing company for my musical needs. Drums, microphones, PA gear, cables and other accessories. Not only is the selection endless but, the costumer service and communication is top notch. AMS 6-12 month payment plans make it so easy to get the gear you need. If you haven’t tried it, don’t hesitate. The best way to supply your gear needs is..AMERICSN MUSIC SUPPLY.

I was on a bit of a budget, outfitting myself with a bunch of new gear for a new band, and opted for these. At their price point, they're tough to beat! They sound great, and the Mackie quality you would expect is there. The military style hard case is a nice addition too. I highly doubt I would ever look to upgrade; these do the job and do it well!

The MP-220 have several fits for your ear comfort, but they have a average sound (very low to no bass monitoring) I've had my MP-220 ear monitors for almost 2 months and actually I'm disappointed with the overall sound quality. If figured with these mid grade ear monitors I'd have a much better sound.. I was wrong

I own Westones which are solid, but more than double the price of these Mackies. At this price point, I took a leap and purchased two pairs, as our drummer needed new in ear monitors. We have both been stunned by quality of these Mackies at this price point. I’m familiar with their live sound gear, boards, PAs, etc, and Mackie gear is dang near bullet proof. These in ear buds are same: solid, affordable and very effective in live settings. Totally stoked with these Mackie’s and would recommend to anyone. There is nothing out there at this price point with quality of these Mackies. Can you get higher fidelity quality? Sure, but expect to spend $300 - 400 bucks.

I have been using some single driver IEMs for a couple of years, but playing the bass I could just never get the sound that I wanted or needed. After reading a lot of reviews I decided to give the Mackie 220s a try. I played my first service with them this past Sunday and I was very pleased with the sound. The mids and highs did not bleed over into the bass, everything was clear and there was a ton of headroom. These IEMs are much louder than my last set. I was able to reduce the volume of every instrument in my mix and for once I didn't have to pull out a ear bud during practice or the service. The buds themselves were comfortable and there are a bunch of tips to try. I like the foam tips myself. They seal really well and I think the bass response is better.
