I used it as a ride stand. Flat ride over my bass drum. It can get pretty low which is what I was looking for. Solid stand easy to adjust.

Great for single cymbal stand, any size. I thought they might be tippy, as their not heavy-duty, but nope. They are sturdy. Not really ideal for add-ons,such as Tom mounts,etc., but great stand. I appreciate the short arm on top, as I hate the excess rod sticking out the front of the kit. Guitarists always knock into them on smaller stages.

These are not the stands I thought they would be, but they work just fine! I would recommend these be used alone or with a small splash or accent cymbal, get the beafier ones to mount Toms or a bunch of cymbals to!
