It's great, the finish looks amazing on the night wood. It holds its tuning no matter how hard I play. I especially love the two floor Tom's. They sound perfect.

The black hardware on this kit looks killer. The suspended Tom mounts make for a nice full sound that doesn’t get choked out. Even with the factory heads on this this it sounds big. Well worth the money. If you’re buying for a beginner this is an amazing kit they will play for years to come. With all the different configurations you can bet there’s room to grow with this mars set. Mapex makes a great product and would recommend this set to a player of all skill levels.

These drums are great for the price. Extremely easy to tune, and get a good sound with. I do recomend changing the heads. But after that there is a pretty wide range of tones this kit is capable of. Great attack, and just the right amount of sustain. Do not muffle these drums. Take the xtra 20 - 30 seconds on each drum to tune the over tones out. To not let these shells sing would be a crime against music. My single complaint is that the shells are wrapped and not stained or painted. But honestly for the price compared to the amazing sound, over looking that isnt an issue. Definitely not enough to take a star away. Five stars all day long. No matter what level you're on. I would recomend giving these a go for any application

Out of the this drum set you get the best quality for your money. It is the perfect drum set for live and studio recording sound. It is one of the best investments in equipment purchases I have made from far with AMS. Highly recommend this product.

Quality kit, above average hardware. I'm only using these for recording and I replaced the heads with Remo pinstripe clears. They sound amazing, and are surprisingly easy to tune and get a good sound quickly. Excellent value for sure, and they look super cool too.

These are great drums especially for the price. Hardware is solid but the stock heads are cheap. These are made as well as some of the higher priced sets and I am extremely happy with these. The payment setup is a great deal for anyone that can't just drop $700 at one time. I would definitely recommend these to any drummer.
