The last two items I purchased was the Marshall dsl-5 combo fantastic amp the cleans are amazing and the overdrives are great also purchase the Fillmore 25 for getting that 6v6 sound fantastic amp to channel also

This is a great amp by itself or with pedals. It just does it all. Ive owned his amp for a year and its been everything advertised. More than met expectations. Light and easy to take to small gigs. I've yet to fond anything I dislike about this amp.

I recently just purchased this amp because my old one got ruined. I love this amp! The sound is amazing and is easy to use. I can plug my electric or acoustic guitar through and just gives it a whole new sound. My old one was a Peavey but I’m definitely going to stick with Marshall amps from now on!

I wanted a small tube amp and after alot of research and reading reviews I chose this little Marshall DSL5 and I'm glad I did. It has an unbelievable sound and is plenty loud enough for me. I like the fact I can get some great tube tones at a volume level that my neighbors don't call the police. Very punchy and articulate. This is a definite keeper. I have to give kudos to American Musical for the fast delivery and for their awesome no interest payment plans. You can't go wrong with American Musical or this little Marshall.

Great sounding clean channel, pretty quiet compared to the ultra channel though, speaking of which sounds fantastic! If you really want to get chuggy throw an eq pedal in the loop (I just use a cheap behringer, and works great)
Was initially worried about the Ten-Thirty speaker, having never heard one and going down the forum rabbit hole, I like it, and I'm leaving it in there.
Only negative is the 16 ohm impedance, makes it a little more difficult to get cabs to use with it(all mine are 8) if you even plan on going that route.
Regardless, I'm really enjoying this little 5 watt beast, happy days, be nice =)

Change out the speaker. I put a greenback in mine and it sounds great with my les Paul. Stock speaker is fizzy. Love the idea that you can turn on and off the effects loop per foot switch.

Great bedroom amp that gives you the tube and crunch tones at a moderate volume. I was going between this amp and the Code 100 and chose this for the great tones at a lower volume. It gets pretty loud for 5w but I didn’t get this amp for the high volume levels.

I’ve owned 7 tube amps but this is my first Marshall. I’m very impressed with this little amp. It’s solidly built, has every feature that I could want and most of all, it sounds amazing! Pure Marshall! The clean channel is surprisingly good. People complain that the reverb is weak. It’s nowhere near as deep as a Fender spring reverb and it may not be enough for some. However, I think it’s plenty for most of us and I think it sounds great, even if you do have to crank it up.

It has a lot of power for a 5 watt amp. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone. Plus AMS' 8 monthly payments make it totally affordable!
