The guitar was in far better condition than expected for being a scratch and dent item. Almost perfect. Plays like a dream. Only one very small mark on the top. Not even noticeable.

I never owned a triple 000 short scale guitar but I knew it would be a Martin after playing and owning a D-28 and OM-28. The 000-18 is the perfect size for me since I only play at home. The volume this guitar projects does not disappoint and the tone is all Martin. After owning and playing Rosewood back and sides Martins I knew I needed a Mahogany guitar by Martin and the triple 000 would be the perfect acoustic for playing at home. I don't play with a heavy hand and the 000-18 can deliver volume when needed. I was torn between getting the 000-18 and the Gibson J45. Both great guitars but I'm glad I opted for the Martin. Perfect size, weight, and oh that Martin Mahogany tone sounds so sweet and large for an Orchestra-size acoustic guitar. Get yourself one. I know you will not be disappointed.

The most surprising thing about this guitar is how light it is. The short scale makes for very easy playing, and the fit and finish is exactly what you would expect from a Martin.

Redesigned to the pre-war specs, nice size with all the sound. I didn't want a huge Dreadnaught, but something I could set up several different ways. Its a picker, great for lead and perfect to get that Dreadnaught full sound. It is all there.

I was seriously looking for a Martin that I could play every day and keep as my go-to forever. The 000-18 fits that bill for me to a tee, it's my everyday heirloom. No extravagant frills just a solid half hog that waits for you to make her sing and man does her voice sound lovely.
Superior craftsmanship, excellent customer service and that Martin tone. Every day this instrument brings a smile to my face and I would highly recommend to any serious player.
No hassles in purchase through AMS and payments have been a breeze. I'll be buying again and again.

I was looking for a smaller companion to my Martin D-18 and this, Martin 000-18, fits the bill. Its smaller size, both in body and scale length, is extremely comfortable to play. And, while it is smaller, it doesn't lose much in volume than its bigger brother.
I love this guitar and I couldn't be happier.

I love this guitar. This is the perfect mid size guitar with well balanced bass, mid range and trebles. The action if very low and the playability due to its short scale is perfect for me. The craftsmanship is superb and gorgeously finished. I will be selling several of my other acoustics as non come close to my Martin ooo-18. I would highly recommend this guitar to a friend.
