I was a little disappointed in the set up I had to do a lot of adjustments but it was extremely cold out so that could have been a factor as well.But overall I love the sound of the guitar it sounds like an acoustic guitar should sound like!!I don’t play a lot of stuff on acoustic instruments so when I do I prefer it to sound like an acoustic guitar!!????

Great tone but...
The saddle is lopsided and it had an E string on the A. They're supposedly sending a new saddle.
Can't access the truss rod without Martin's special ten dollar wrench. Like I said.. Great tone with nice bass response. Electronics are ok. I'm still on the fence about sending it back tho. For a thousand bucks I did expect a little more care to details.

I got this to compliment a Taylor 114ce. They are very similar shape, same woods. This thing is built well, electronics absolutely dominate over Taylors. I returned a 214ce because the ES2 system doesn't mesh with my playing style, it was not useable at all.
These things are set up on plek machines which is an incredible value. Sweetwater gives you that option but its hundreds of dollars on top of guitar price.
I went four starts because the nut is cut like s word but I'm going to replace that, saddle, and bridge pins with materials I want anyway.

The sound is wonderful the size and feel fits me perfect. I picked up a random martin at the store played it and fell in love with the sound so I found out which one is super popular right now at a fair entry price and it's this one. I made this purchase blind without playing this guitar before hand without any regrets I just got it and have about 1 hour and 30 mins playtime on it personally I think it's quality sounds beautiful. I will update this review if I find any issues and or feel the need to change my opinion as of now 5 stars baby!

Room filling sound from this Martin guitar. Easily playable size and feel. Worth every penny of the low price.
I play 10-15 hours of live music in the Florida Keys every week with this instrument. The electronics are perfect and carry the true sound through my speaker system. Highly recommend the GPC11e!

Right out of the box, this guitar is ready to go.
Pre- strung with quality strings. Great tone, plugged in or not. Good balance, stays in tune. Can’t wait to gig with it. Also came with a good quality soft case. I would definitely recommend this guitar!

This is my first Martin Guitar and I have to say that I love the finish and feel of the neck on this guitar! I've read so many reviews from different people about these Mexican made Martin guitars and how they aren't "real" Martins, but I can't tell any difference between my Martin and the entry level American made model. It plays like butter!

What an amazing guitar. It has a rich tone, the sapele sides and back are a gorgeous wood.
The built in tuner is highly visible even in dark venues.
The neck feels amazing in your hands.

It's a Martin! All features standout in my opinion the Sound and Projection cant be beat. The ease of playability is second to none. In the month that I have had it, I have not played any of my other acoustics. As a side note to that, 4 of my acoustics will be leaving me soon, as their service is no longer required. I know my next purchase will be Martin 12 string. As usual with AMS the order and delivery process as flawless.

Martin got it right again! The quality, build and design are outstanding! Most impressive is the sound and sustain which are amazing for a guitar at this price point. The tuner/controls in the sound hole have become a favorite feature, much easier to tune 'on the fly'.
Have long aspired to own a Martin, and believe me, it is well worth the wait!

I notice that every review praises this guitar. There is a reason for that. It is a MARTIN. Even though this particular Martin guitar is made in Mexico, it does not mean it is any less in quality. The factory there is in frequent communication with the Martin Guitar Factory in Nazareth, Pa. They are constantly updated with the latest innovations in guitar construction and materials. They have also been in operation for more than twenty years. So the next time anyone looks at your guitar and says it's not a REAL Martin, Tell them to go try one out at their local guitar store. The Martin GPC11E acoustic electric guitar is a beautiful work of art. I do not believe you will find a better sounding acoustic guitar in this price range. It was hard to find it in stock but wait for it. You won't be Sorry!

I just purchased this Martin a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with it. I have 4 other acoustic electric guitars but this is my new favorite. The playability of the neck and the optimum body size and shape make for a pure joy to play. The hidden tuner is a definite plus. If you're looking for a great guitar at a very reasonable price , this is the one. Thanks to AMS and their payment system it's a must have.

This is a fantastic guitar. I am an intermediate player and have usually played on $200 - $500 acoustics but this gem is truly remarkable. Action is sleek and your fingers will glide along the fretboard. Never had an easier time fingering chords. Where have you been all my life? I am in love....

I have always wanted a Martin but could never afford one. Ams no interest payment plan made it possible for me to own one. The guitar sounds and plays better than I had hoped. Always wanted a Martin, but never could really afford one. Still on a budget, I went down to my local guitar store to try a few out. I had always had my eye on a GPCRSG. They played great and were a mid-priced ($1300) Martin. Come to find out the the new GPC11E replaced those, and were also at a lower price. Found one at the local store, and it did not disappoint. It played and sounded just as good as its predecessor. Its the kind of thing when you pick up a guitar and it just feels "right". For comparison, I played a few other Martins that were much higher priced, and other than aesthetics, I couldn't tell a difference. I was sold, but the local guitar store didn't have a decent finance plan that I could take advantage of, so I went to AMS. Was nervous about ordering a guitar online that I didn't actually get to play first. But it played beautifully right out of the box. Just shows that Martin consistently makes a quality product. Have had it for 2 months now, and I am completely happy with my decision. Thanks AMS!!!

As a Martin owner I decided to give the GPC11E a shot. Arrived quickly, well packaged and safely from AMS. The Martin is well.. a Martin. It’s what I’m used to playing. It has the big bottom end and crisp highs. The Fishman Electronics are great. The quality of the Martin surpasses any other brand in this price range. The gig bag is very nice, well constructed and serves the instrument well. Comfortable to play and sounds wonderful plugged or unplugged!

is amazing, great craftsmanship and sound. great choice on electronics and easy to play with the neck size on this model allowing for a smooth transition between chords. The tuner is tucked away in the body with only visibility from the player and is user friendly. The travel bag that comes with the guitar is amazing as well,
plenty of room for extra chord for a speedy repair to get you going again.

Awesome guitar!!! The product description doesn't specify the volume and tone controls but they are there and the built in tuner is very well done. The iconic "Martin Tone" is present and the construction is top notch. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has been considering breaking into a Martin addiction. I can’t stress what an amazing guitar this is! I am an intermediate player and was looking for a great value guitar for a great price. This thing checks all the boxes. The solid Sitka spruce top and sapele back and sides gives of such a clear and rich tone with very warm lows. The action out of the box was perfect and such a comfortable neck to play. Not to mention the built in tuner that tunes perfectly, a little slower then my snark but to the exact same tuning. Also comes with a great gig bag with plenty of padding! Also to finish it off ordering from American musical supply was such a pleasure. Their payment plans and competitive pricing, sales and free 3 day shipping made my purchase a very satisfying one!!

I'm an older guy who's been playing for sixty years and most of it with a Martin guitar. On stage, off stage, this new GPC11E is simply incredible. You can instantly tell it's a Martin by the tone. I was not sure at first about putting my old D18 aside, but now I'm so happy that I did. In short, I highly recommend the Martin GPC11E for anyone who takes musica as an art form that soothes the Savage beast in all of us. Excellent ax.??????

I own all high end American made gear; however I wanted an acoustic that would not break the bank, since I play mostly electric. Though I was skeptical when ordering, this Martin way surpassed my expectations. It plays and sounds wonderfully. It looks as great as it sounds . From the biggest guitar snob in the world , this is well worth the money and highly recommend this instrument ! AMS has yet to let me down ; this guitar is a grand slam.
