Product Review I own 2 Taylors, a 2003 110-GB and a Big Baby which I bought brand new, 3 months ago. Taylor suggests that you use Elixirs on their guitars which a lot of their users blindly follow. Don't get me wrong, I like Elixirs but they're overpriced and don't last as long as some people claim they do. I'm 58 years old and have been playing for 45 years and have always used Martin Strings on my Acoustics not only because they sound great but because they are long lasting as well. One set of these will last at least a month maybe longer, depending on how often you play. These have more tone compared to Elixirs which IMO are too bright . Give me Martins any day of the week. Three sets for 18 bucks is a bargain , especially when they're SP Phosphor Bronze !!!!

Product Review These murder my fingertips. Sound is good on my Martin, dull on my Taylor. The feel is too harsh to recommend. Pay more and get better quality. Lesson learned.

Product Review The quality is more than the price paid for. I used the Martin SP acoustic 12 thru 53 gauge in blue grass, gospel, folk music and the sound is a clear bright tone. The strings feel good but I do used fast fret lubricant on strings cause I go up and down on the neck a lot. I get a bright and booming tone on my martin D16. yes

Extra Light Strings

These strings lasted as long as any other strings I have used and sound great. Your general opinion of this product. These are nice strings. They stayed in tune and lasted a good while. The only thing I didn't like about them is they turned my fingers black. I haven't had this probelm with other strings. Played nice. The tone was excellent for extra light stirngs. Easy to play and fairly easy to bend. Like I said they leave a black residue on my fingers. Fine

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
They're made by Martin, excellent product.

FEATURES:
The gold colored plating looks good against my honeyburst finish guitar. It also makes them last longer than other strings I've tried.

EASE OF USE:
Pick 'em,pluck 'em....they're strings...

VALUE:
The price is comparable to anyother acoustic string set, but they last longer.

SOUND:
I put a set of these on my Applause AE128 and it really made a difference in its unplugged sound. It went from sounding rather "thin" and "trebly" to being very full and balanced. The gauge was the same as the ones being replaced too.
