My first Martin guitar and let me just say wow! Beautiful guitar and super comfortable to play. It’s a little pricey compared to the other guitars I’ve purchased in the past which is why I was a little hesitate to purchase. Now that I have it, I wish I would have purchased it sooner. Highly recommend

It is everything you may have heard about and more. Words will not be adequate to explain. I also have an HD-28e, which I prefer. This one is less boom than the d-28(which is great for rhythm strumming and is what I do so that's why I prefer HD-28), the OM is better nuanced for finger picking. Either way, I love my Gibson J-45 standard, too, but the Martins sound sweeter because the overtones. I got the J-45 first, then the HD-28, I still had to get this OM-28. Its smaller, more diminutive, regardless what the specs say, its tinier in size than HD-28. Its versatile.

It doesn’t get any better than this beautiful OM from Martin. Plays like butter and is extremely inspiring. The LR Baggs Anthem is well above my expectations and I’ve tried a lot of different acoustic pickup systems over the years. Do yourself a favor and take the plunge on purchasing one...you won’t regret it. AMS makes it easy to buy with low monthly payments and super fast shipping.
