When you first open the case the look and smell of the guitar is just mind blowing. You can definitely tell the craftsmanship that was used on this amazing guitar. I have had Taylor guitars as well as others, but none compare to this one. The tone quality is just so rich and unique. As a sound engineer myself it's so impressive that I can leave the EQ flat and the uniqueness shines through. I have had the guitar for almost a year now and it exceeds my expectations still. If you are looking for a guitar or on the fence pull the trigger, and I can assure you that you won't regret it.

This guitar is immaculate, the build quality is amazing, and it sounds perfect. I do wish Martin would put strap buttons on the heel of the neck, as I don’t want to drill into it myself, I just find it to be more comfortable to play that way than the strap attached to the headstock

I really really want to love this guitar. It's beautiful and well built, but after a couple months, I am compelled to find a Martin Luthier and spend money to get it right. I tried different strings, but action came super low and buzzed bad, then after a truss rod adjustment it got a little better, but I've hit the limit of the truss rod. I've tried different strings. I have have over 40 guitars in my last 30 years and have worked on a lot of them. This one is important to me and I haven't been able to get it right myself. I'm going to let a pro do it. If he cant get it right, I'll sell it on ebay. American Music Supply has no quality control. I feel like other sellers would have caught this. To be fair they offered to swap it out, but took their other advice and kept it to let it adjust to the climate. its very well balanced, but doesn't play near as well as many at a fraction of the cost. Common theme with buying from American supply, poor setups and no quality control. I buy because of the easy pay, but moving forward I need to put my hands on it before i buy or i will buy from a seller than does inspections before shipping them out. I've had it about 6 months i think. I really think it just needs a good setup and it will be a forever guitar. receiving it in the condition it came really did deflate me.

I couldn't wait to try out this guitar. I went to a few music stores in my area to test as many as I could and loved each one. AMS had the best deal as I was lucky enough to find it here during a 12 month payment period. It arrived well packaged and protected straight from the Martin factory. The case itself is beautiful and very sturdy but the guitar, oh man...it's perfect. Such a nice looking and brilliant sounding guitar. My band plays 6 or 7 shows a month so I needed a guitar that could be my work horse. The OMJM quickly became my #1. The pickup sounds great, the action was perfect right out of the box, and the thing resonates for days. I highly recommend picking up this guitar.

From the first, I was absolutely taken with this instrument. I've owned many acoustic guitars, even some other mid to high-end Martins. All I can say is "WOW." I've never played a guitar with such projection and crystalline articulation as the OMJM. From flat pick strumming to soft finger style. It's INCREDIBLE.

The Martin OMJM is nearly perfect. As with many guitars (and it seems the more expensive the more this is true), it requires a professional setup; in my case, action a bit high at the nut. And for some reason Martin manufactured this with a bone nut but tusq saddle. $130 for a setup and bone saddle, and now it is the best guitar I've ever played.
New. So far, so good.

Researched for a year before making this purchase and am not disappointed in the slightest. It's awesome.

Plays like a strat 1 11/16 nut size .Really fast
Like i said for its size it has a great bass response and the highs are excellent
Great flawless finish
