My Only Complaint is The 1 sheet paper instructions that came with Magma Control Stand II are TERRIBLE . But once I figured out how to assemble ,its now OUTSTANDING and very sturdy and Holds my AKAI FORCE solidly plus I can put laptop or another piece of musical gear on the top tier of stand. Was looking every where for a stand for my AKAI FORCE and this one fits the Bill plus Some I highly recommended it. Aloha

So when I opened the stand I noticed a few things, first, the portion of the stand that was meant to hold a laptop was missing one of the rubber runners. Next, as I tried to assemble the stand I noticed that the leg on one of the arms meant to support the DJ controller was slightly bent out of shape. Lastly, the threads inside of each support bar were clogged with the black coating that was applied to the bars. I was able to work with the stand for an hour or so to get it to fit together. The only reason I didn't ship it back was because I had a party the next night and did not have time to wait for a replacement and hope that it would not have the same problems.

It works good in most stationary settings. It’s not as stable as lying on a flat surface but it’s adjustable and elevated.

It's really a great stand for my laptop & controller... I'm really happy with it but the only disappointment was mines didn't come with instruction so lucky I'm handy cause not who knows how long it would of taken to put together...

I loved this product from the start. It's very sturdy and has a great finish. It was really simple to put together. The only downside for me was that it was too big for my studio desk that i went with. It would be perfect for on stage though. I'm going to keep it just in case I need it for a future gig.
