This is the best capo I have used.

This is the best capo I have used. It works on various fretboard radius necks and doesn’t pull strings out of tune as long as you don’t press harder than needed.

Less adjusting

Product Review
Let's be honest capos are a pretty simple thing, they just clamp down strings. The big difference with this capo is it goes on and you forget about it, no buzz, no adjusting, no having to search for a sweet spot. It does something so simple, but blows everything else out of the water with it's ease of use.

Does some things better

Product Review
This capo is not inexpensive, and has a much less simple inner construction (thus the extra price) than the others. But if you want to change rapidly between capoing different neck thicknesses (substantially different neck locations or different guitars entirely), this capo will do it better than other capos. The strength of the capo force is determined by how tightly you squeeze it onto your guitar neck, so with a little practice, it's very quickly adjusted.

Easiest to mount and also the most secure and consistent grip across all strings
By: Mark Schmieder
Submitted: 7/1/2023
Product Review
Most acoustic guitar capos are difficult to mount or to get even tension across all strings, but not so with this model.
It is nice that it comes in three nice finishes. I bought Gold as it is the easiest to see on a dark stage and thus is less likely to get lost while packing up for the night.
I have not yet tried this on my baritone acoustic, or my 12-string. I think it is only designed for standard 6-string acoustic guitars, but it's fine on jumbos, dreadnoughts, or parlor guitars. Not nylon models though.

Not as good as the original

Product Review
I have 2 G7th original capos that I purchased when these first came out. I love the 2 I have so naturally when I saw this was on sale I bought one right away. The things I don't like about this one is there isn't much to it. The original capos are solid. This one is much thinner and they completely changed the mechanism that releases it from the neck of the guitar. The previous design was much better.

Good for the quickness

Product Review
Get this capo if you want to put it on a regular guitar neck quickly and don't want to retune. It does fit nicely and you don't have to apply extra pressure. However, it is not good for 12 strings, or any instruments with octave pairs, baritones or putting above the 7th fret on a regular guitar.

This is the only capo I've ever used that doesn't completely wreck the tuning when it's put on. Its adjustable radius technology is fabulous. Plus there's a lifetime warranty.

It is solid, and I like the weight and lifetime warranty, but it doesn't take the buzz out as well as a Kyser, and you will find that you'd prefer your Kyser. Im sending it back.

I purchased this item on a whim along with my guitar. It has been a great surprise, working much better than my normal capo. The price is right and well worth giving it try, maybe you too will be surprised.

The best Capo you can get

What a great piece of engineering. Capo's seem to never evolve but this is something truly special. The string pad contours itself to the fretboard so you get even contact across all your strings. This helps to keep them in tune but also provides even pressure so you can be confident that your tone will not fluctuate.
I love the form factor, it's so small that it doesn't get in the way. It is pricey but it will honestly be the only Capo you will need for the rest of your life.

Best Capo I ever owned
By: Timothy Davis

This capo is a new design to fit the radius of the guitar fretboard. I find no dead strings rings out clear every time. G7 company makes several high quality products. There are cheaper capos. It's a good option to avoid Barre chords with by providing chords up the fretboard

I suppose it's okay on a six string. But useless in a 12 string, Martin acoustic / electric, for fifty five bucks I returned it immediately. I'd give it a zero if I could.

No retuning!
By: Michael Hale
Submitted: 6/26/2019
Product Review
This capo has taken the stress out of performance. Staying in tune with the other instruments is required and retuning after installation is not what you want. Acoustic has compound radius and G7 3 has eliminated this issue. Wonderful capo!
