Affordable intro to analog modular!

This was my first foray into the modular analog space. It’s an analog semi-mod that’s put out by a renowned company with a reasonable price tag. I’ve spent months exploring patching options and building my own sounds. The manual tells you how things work and gives you homework to help you understand signal flow/cv to help give an understanding to what’s going on. 10/10 great sound, cool possibilities.

What can I say. The 32 makes sound creating fun and interesting. All moog products are great. Fits well with dfam and Sub harmonicon. Also ya a midi to work with other moog synths. Knobing experience is him ever the same. Every time you go in to build a new sound it is difficult to imitate the previous sound, unless you documented the preset. But sometimes documenting the presets takes about the curiosity of something different and potentially better.

Amazing value!
I highly recommend the Mother- 32! I feel like I have the original Moog unit. The sounds are incredible and the unit is easy to set up and use. As my wife said.... Now you can mimic Giorgio Moroder!

I started with the Dfam, but needed some more versatility and some driving Moog sound so took the leap on this..... which led to me getting the grandmother.
This is a great piece of gear, it definitely will give you some great sonic depth and space if you need something playing behind more gear. It can be your lead, it can be your bass, and just when you thought what else it could bring... it can bring percussion to.
If I need my Dfam to drive some bass line, this will offer great percussion. It stands great alone, but just comes to new life with the Dfam and then the grandmother.
If the array of knobs scares you as a beginner, yes knowing what each does offers a leg up, but exploring with no knowledge can produce greatness to. Definitely a must have addition or great starting point.

Such a fat sound from a little box

I'm really pleased with this synth overall. The form factor is more compact than I initially expected, and it is very lightweight which makes moving it around easy. Such thick and rich sound! It could benefit from a power switch as opposed to having to unplug the power when you're done using it.

I have 2 of these and they are so much fun. That unmatched moog signature sound in a eurorack. combine with the Dfam will make a set up that will bring tears to your eyes. snag a dfam and 3 tier frame and you are set. a great starting point for those looking to get into the eurorack world. great punchy synth sound and patch versatility and a price that will be hard to beat. a big downside to this though is that its very addicting.

Moog is your Mommy!

So far I've learned that the Mother 32 is whatever you choose for it to be. Some folks like scratching its surface just making beeps and boops but if you study and learn it you can do so much more with it. There are ways to manipulate the unit to make it sound full and lush even though it's a mono synth. I would recommend if you do decide to pick one of these up try to challenge yourself to make it sound like a real instrument instead of R2D2.

This is a beast alone, but pair it with the DFAM and the universe melts with tonal bliss......

Product Review
I purchased the DFAM several months ago. Then I bought the Mother 32. The Mother 32 is an absolute tonal beast. Fat bass, glimmering highs and just awe inspiring filtering that only a Moog can do. Pair it with the DFAM and prepare yourself. I have not been able to stop playing with these since I got them. If you are on the fence about whether or not it is worth it, just buy it. You will thank me and every other person who has recommended it. The sequencer takes a bit to get accustomed to, but then you will find just how powerful this thing is. I intend to get at least one more of each.

Where do I begin well...It's a MOOG. Enough Said

Compact, powerful and while saving a few extra bucks. Instantly hear the difference in all of my music with this piece. I have this plus the MOOG DFAM. The combo is dangerous. If you like pushing your music to the next level and make the move to some analogue equipment that is known for quality this is for you. I always enjoyed the sound of Moog synths and this fits in perfectly with my collection. It'll take a few moments to understand how everything works but we live in the age where the internet always has tips and tricks to operate. This sounds very cliche but when I use this in my music it can really set the tone of where you want to go and the sonic possibilities are limited to your imagination. IT IS A MUST HAVE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE BEGINNING TO BUILD UP YOUR STUDIO.

MOOGALICIOUS

Build is as you would expect from MOOG just impeccable. Sound is just outstanding and the perfect way to bring that MOOG sound into your modular world. It's also a great entry level into the modular world giving you a sequencer and keyboard which alone would cost nearly as much or more as this entire module. You get a lot of bang for your buck with the Mother 32.

Love This Moog for the Price

Product Review
This tiny synth sounds great, and has many great features. I love the sequencer, and all the functionality the patchbay provides. My only gripe is that there is no usb connectivity, so if you want to control it by keyboard you need a serious unit. Otherwise, I want to buy at least one more, get the triple rack, and fill one tier with Euromodules. Big fun.
