I own several Moogs and other analog synths. The subsequent 37 is definitely the one I gravitate towards when I want to jump in to creating songs. The presets are wide and varied and provide excellent jumping-off points for your own sounds. AMS was the only company that had even 1 in stock, and it was shipped nearly immediately. I had it in less than a week. Great service, great product. Super happy with the transaction.

I love this synth . It’s an instant winner . Beautiful analogue sound . Very powerful . This synth will not disappoint you . Unless you’re just a super picky experienced synth fanatic . But this thing is built like a tank . Feels like what I’ve paid for which isn’t cheap . . I think the best thing about this Cynth is it is analog sound engine, but has digital mixed in as well to where you can save presets and things like that. from what I’ve read, this will cover all your mono synth needs .

I’ve been a fan of Moog for a really long time and when I finally got the opportunity to pick up the Sub 37, I jumped at the opportunity. The functionality is so smooth and the tones it produces are even better. Highly highly recommend. You should probably pick one up before I buy another one. It’s that good.

This would be my third Moog Sub 37 Synthesizer. Each time I have thought I was done with this machine, I only crawl back to it. I have played and recorded with literally around 100 synths over the past 25 years. I have always seemingly ran out of features, etc with all of the others. With the Moog Sub 37, this is impossible. It is as vast as the stars in the night sky. If you are looking for sound design, this is a Holy Grail of sound. I could not express this enough. Moog rules this catagory. The metal body makes it strong. The look is beautiful like a jet plane dash board.

I have had a strangely blessed life. I attended UNC-Asheville in the early 1980s where Dr. Moog and co-designer, and physicist, Dr. Ruiz designed these awesome devices. Later, I worked in electronics with a dude who breaded boarded their circuit designs. I never thought that I would have a MOOG synthesizer because I am NOT a musician. I am only a drummer. However, after visiting the MOOG factory in Asheville and investigating the power of their synths by watching videos, I came to the conclusion that this particular model would be a terrific addition to my drum room. The Sub 37 is so easy to work with, even an old geezer like me can make simple sequenced grooves with which to play along. I can only see myself learning many more features and programming 'tricks' on the Sub 37 in order to create base tracks and grooves for my lyrics. Enter my partner who is the amazing vocal major and music teacher and who can add the embellishment. Thanks to MOOG for making music fun and to AMS, my musical 'crack house,' for making it possible to experience this synth with payment plans!

It took me a while to pull the trigger on this, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The tones are pure, analogue warmth. The keyboard feels well constructed. No loose pots or klunky keys. I plugged it in turned it on and let it warm up. Then tonal bliss. I pulled sounds from Kansas, Pink Floyd, Micheal Jackson, Yes and many other Minimoog users. If you are looking for the sound that was good, is good and will be sought after for years to come, we’ll here it is.

This Moog Subsequent 37 sounds are soo massive and give you that classic analog Synth sound, that Moog has always been known for. Perfect for Bass lines, leads atmosphere and SFX. While also being very advanced for sound design, this synth also is easy to learn thanks to the layout and clear cut instructions from Moog.

The synth is great, bass lines and leads are just amazing, I even sold my Minitaur bass synth, because I can do everything with the Subsequent37.
If you are looking for a Moog sound, here it is! Endless knobs and menu, so you can sound design any sound you’re looking for.
Sequencer and arppegietor are easy to use.
American Musical was great, bought one that had a little defect on it, called them, they were amazing with me, send it back, couple of days later, had a new one.
One of the best stores out there!.

I have a fair amount of synths at my disposal (a prophet 6, se-02,deepmind, 9u of modular...) But I wanted to get a monosynth with patch recall and a keyboard. Looked at a bunch of units and then realized that it was time to get a Moog. The Subsequent 37 is phenomenal in every respect. The keybed is super playable, every knob and switch feels perfect. The sound is divine, it just always manages to sit perfectly in the mix.
I was blown away by the depth of modulation and programming capabilities on the 37, the looping envelopes and assignable lfos are a great touch. It keeps up with my modular rack as far as flexibility.

For the seasoned or just starting artist trying to dabble in the synthesizer field, this is a great buy. Amazing, rich analog sounds that you can manipulate and tweak to your liking. This is a great investment if you’re getting into Moog or synthesizers In general.
Seasoned musicians will love the versatility and sound bank, beginners will find new adventure with every knob shift. I was on the fence and am not regretting making this investment. If it it’s the bills one day, or is just my personal escape, I’m glad I got this beauty.

This latest iteration of the Moog Sub 37 is a complete gem. I love the unlimited options to save your settings, either on-board or the computer-based app. It helps you shape those unique sounds, unlike the classic modular types in which the sounds get lost if you turn a knob or change a plug. The keys feel great and are very responsive when connecting to soft synths or external hardware. I would highly recommend this board for anyone who wants to expand their catalog of soundscapes. Or is looking for that centerpiece for a DAW-less setup.

Having stacks of existing financial obligations makes it seem impossible to purchase anything. Thanks AMS for making it easier for cats like me to purchase an incredible board! I've had my Moog 37 for only a few months and I absolutely love it! I am able to create as many sounds as i need to and save them with no problem. I absolutely love that if i need to quickly tweak a sound in the middle of a solo, all of the knobs are right there for me to make any adjustment without having to go through layers off pages. It makes it easier to take that solo to a whole different level on the spot. If there's anyone looking to upgrade their analog synth, having a Mini Moog 37 is the way to go. Thanks AMS!!!

A must read!! This comes keyboard comes with pre-sets that will take time to get use to. It is well put together and after spending time experimenting with it you will eventually become a master on the Moog Subsequent 37 Analog Synthesizer. The sounds are fat and can be used for any kind of music. I also suggest you buy an anvil or any hard case for protection. Good investment!!

I absolutely love this synth. I've managed to branch into a few new genres and create some amazing sounds with it. The middle filter area is dope for running inputs and resampling stuff with the multidrive and cutoff.
This is thing also has massive low end capabilities. Hands down I no longer need a soft synth for subs or low frequency sound design.

It has surpassed my expectations, the built quality is amazing and the sound that comes out of it is like nothing I’ve hear any soft synth ever been able to make. It’s punchy and warm, and the harmonics it has makes the sounds be so rich. It’s not too hard to navigate, it works flawlessly with ableton and protocols which is what I use to produce. Since I got it it’s my go to for bass and leads. I’ve been asked where I’m getting my bass from on some of the newer tracks I’ve been making... that says it all

I really love this synth. I’ve been wanting a Moog for a very long time. This synth has now given me a chance to get off of my computer and actually experience the synth. It does not compare to any VST at all. I cant express to you how much this machine has transformed my creative process. It has changed my whole outlook on creating music for the better. Amazing sound quality, very versatile sequencer. With the computer editor it allows you to save presets really quickly and easy to assign to a few patches to a bank. The Duo mode takes a little tweaking to get the right level of sound. Bottom line it is really fun to play and I don’t have to assign knobs to have fun, it is ready to go.

Love this synth. The sonic capabilities are insane for a synth in this price range. The low end really growls, and it’s easy to get those driving basslines you here in a lot of house music nowadays. Great for leads too! The arpeggiator is especially helpful. Knob per function is another great plus. Limited menu diving is always a positive for me. My only criticisms are that the keys, when compared to my little phatty, seem to be made out of a cheaper material and have a more plastic feel, and when I received my synth the silver top of the filter knob had peeled off of the knob and was stuck to the LED screen. I guess the glue wasn’t very strong. But these things have no impact on the most important aspect of the synth, the SOUND, so I can’t complain.

The Sub37 is a great synth for keybass, there are so many presets and a lot of them seem pretty useful. Plus the knobs are fairly intuitive. It's not as daunting to dig into as it looks. Highly recommended as a first synth.

This instrument can do so much more than the sub phatty, save up the extra money for this one and you'll be happy. Also for how much cheaper this unit is than the model D reissue it's a steal, it can do so much more and has a very comparable sound when you want it do. Moog knocked it out of the park with this one, affordability in a great package!

You have to obviously be into mono sounds but this does deliver. I like the fact it has several free memory banks to hold onto your creative projects. Also, because there are two sets of oscillators, you can mimic to some degree duo-phonic sounds. I have also been experimenting by plugging in guitar pedals into the auxiliary inputs to add some effects layers like reverb.
