Great Product, Not Sure Of Implimentation

I got these because I like to keep things organized and clean looking. I thought they would be better than several larger boom stands around the kit. I think it's a great concept. The profile after attaching the mic is still a little large. They also didn't fit out kit - the rims were too wide. Also, the clamp part and the mic holder part are only attached by two thick rubber washers and come apart if you put a heavier mic on it. I am sure that's a shock absorption attempt, just seems ineffective.

A sturdy and affordable mount that fits various styles of drum mic's . These are a great size to fit even into the pocket of your drumstick bag for emergency spares . The clamp design holds well on various drum rims and the height adjustment option these have is a great additional bonus .

Good quality for the price. Just make sure to re-tighten any Philips screws you can get to.
These clips are ideal for drums with the RIM suspension system like my PDP CX model. All other clips I've tried won't fit, especially the ones that came with my Digital Reference set.
Excellent design for the mechanically challenged!
Adequate shock mounting.

Not a ten but it funtions well and is easy to use.
Ease of use. The rubber grips are a little cheesy but like I said, they work.
See above for ease of use and installation. Very playable. Did two shows at 4 hours each and no problems.

An affordable, reliable solution for micing drums.

Appears to be of good quality. The mechanism for attaching it to the rim of the drum is well made and always attaches securely.
It's a very straightforward product. The thread for screwing a mic or mic clip onto it is the standard size, so every mic I own can attach to this easily. The height can also be adjusted, allowing for various positionings of the mic once it is affixed.
These are fairly easy to use. I docked it one point because when I started using them, I realized quickly that you have to tighten the piece the mic is attached to VERY tightly, or else the vibration of hitting the drum causes it to loosen and swing around at odd angles. My toms are mounted on my kick drum, so every time I hit the kick, both tom mics would loosen. But if you take the time to be thorough and properly tighten them, they work quite well.
As near as I can tell, the "shock mounts" do their job -- the sound from mics that I have mounted this way is clean and doesn't seem to pick up any vibration or extraneous noise from being mounted to the drum this way.
