The Drumfire Non Slip Map provides a non-slip surface for my drum set. It is far too thin to allow my kick and high-hat spikes to be used, since the spikes protrude into my hardwood floors.
It may not be particularly aesthetically pleasing, but it does the job.
I'll probably purchase something thicker due to the aforementioned lack of any thickness.

Product is alright. Kind of cheap looking but what did I really expect for the price? Nothing against AMS. Not sure about noise reduction since I already use Remo Silent-Stroke heads and pads on all drums. I recommend for people on a budget. Wish I had chosen the Tama rug instead...only because it would have blended in with my carpet.

As good as any high dollar mat, no slip and plenty of room for full size rock set and hardware! 4 stars ONLY because of durability, i expect it to start to wear with time, but so far looks new and daily use :) 1 month in

In our band, the drummer used a standard rug for placing the drums without having them move around. It was bulky and it was "shedding" the bottom lining and was an all-around pain. This mat was much better from the first time out. Highly recommended.
