The KSA7500 Second Tier for Keyboard Stands adds a spot atop of my keyboard stand.
I have used it on my double-X style as well as my Z-style keyboard stand and it works equally well and both.
It provides ample stability, which was my primary concern.

Considering nothing is in the price range, that I found, this works quite well, it might not be complex, or elegant, but who cares you cannot really see it or the stand with the keyboards on it anyhow. Not sure if it would stand up to road abuse, but home studio it is all you need.

Holds my synth perfectly. Able to adjust the angle except not the height. But that was not a big deal for me. And this way better than cheaper options, as it’s universal, and above all, sturdy.

I use this tier with an old KS7150 table top stand and it works nicely. Perfect size for a 37 key synth. Definitely goes for sturdiness over flexibility - I'm impressed that it can handle over 60 lbs and it feels like it's not gonna move for anything, but that's at the cost of very limited options for orienting it on your stand.

I wanted to add a 2nd tier to my platform style stand, MOOG Grandmother/Matriarch set-up, this fits perfectly. There's plenty of space between the 1st and 2nd tier, I was worried I wouldn't have room to patch and tweak knobs on the Matriarch but I was pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable to sit and play both now, very sturdy also.

Only took about 10-15 mins to setup. Instructions are easy to follow. I like the fact that the arms are adjustable and have a secure, gear style locking mechanism that lets them sit firm and secure.

I got this as opposed to buying a brand new two tier stand for my master and secondary keys. Installation couldn't have been easier and the additional arm between the left and right sides makes this thing rock solid for my setup.

Great but for 1 major design flaw

First of all, the thing is very sturdy and will support your keyboard with no problem. As with all products from On Stage, it's well-built. You adjust the width to match the holes in the back of your stand, screw it in, adjust the tilt, and there you are.
The design flaw is that it's no height adjustable.
For my preference, it makes the 2nd keyboard sit too high off of the main board and there's no way to adjust that any lower.
I have a different 2-tier complete stand by this company, and on that one there is a slider-inset mechanism to allow you to adjust the 2nd-tier height to your preference.
So I was surprised to find that this one isn't similarly designed.

So far so good. Very sturdy. Can't say the same for my X stand, think I gotta go dbl braced, but, it's holding up an 88 key stage piano and the second tier a Triton...all good so far.
Very nice. Heavy duty.

Good Quality of course! I installed it right after I got it out of the box,
you can hold any keyboard size, I would add more Ideas of use on the installation guide on How to make it wider, how to leave the two sides flat etc.
Very easy use common sense to leave it flat, i tood me 10 mins to install it.
If you hit it with a hammer it will sound to crashed metal. lol
good!
A good value! absolutely, after I installed it I realized that I waited too long to buy it.

I bought two of these units.....

I don't feel the quality was very good.... or at least the product was not inspected before marketing. In both sets of these that I bought, the right side was not the same measurement as the left side, the gear ration from one side to the other was not the same, and when you try to angle both arms the same so that your keyboard sits level... the two arms don't lock in at the same angle as each other. Your keyboard sits crooked and you have to shim one side to get your keyboard to sit level.
I was very much not pleased with this product, and both units that I bought were the same way.
The materials used in building the product seem solid enough. However, the knobs at the ends of the bar that goes in between the two legs has very fine, small threads on them. I can see where they might strip very easily.
There are basically only two arms and a cross bar. Assembly doesn't take much to figure out.
This product has no tone associated with it.
This product has not action associated with it.
How much is too much to pay for something that doesn't work well?

This is a well made product. It holds a second synth solidly on my stand.
The only thing I would add is a feature that puts a music stand as an attachment off to the side.
The tier went on without even looking at the directions.
