This mic stand is perfect for my use, enough weight to stay upright even if bumped. No tri-pod feet to trip over. I mount a Phil Jones Bass Ear Box (2.2 lbs, 3.75"x6.75"x4.75") and raise it to my ear level, so I can clearly hear my bass without standing in front of my amp. Highly recommended!

Solid stand I’d like to put my foot on the base of a stand when I sing so when I lean forward or back I can adjust the mic with myself it is much easier with the style of stand then with the leg style it’s very durable I will be buying more of these

Bought this stand to hold my new Bluebird mic and it's great! I actually purchased a pop filter and attachable vocal booth, not quite realizing that the stand would have to support those items on top of the mic itself, and it's holding everything without a problem. Appearance-wise, it fits in perfectly with the black/grey/white color scheme of my home studio! I would definitely recommend this stand!

Should last as long as our old ones.
I like these old-fashioned stands. Heavy base allows them to stand a the back of our trailer and kinda wedge things in that tend to slide or roll.
No brainer to use.

The round base isn't a foot obstacle, and the weight of it eliminates any worry of tipping!

The stand is heavy, balanced and well made.
The overall stability of the stand makes it perfect for studio recording.
I have changed boom arms often on this stand since I purchased it. And, it's always very easy to attach boom arms and adjust the stand to the proper setting for which the application requires.
