Product Review I had all of my rack effects and power conditioner all over my studio space (it is a small setup). This rack has allowed me to maintain all of my rack gear in one space. Also for those with small studio/work desks this will allow you to save some space as opposed to having your gear all over your desk or buying one of those bulky racks.

Product Review This is a very sturdy, functional, 12-space rack good for holding your stuff without breaking the bank. It's not pretty, but it'll hold a ton of stuff on your desk or table and gets the job done. I liked the first one and got another. It's a lot cheaper than rack cases or racks built in desks and it does the job just as well. The only thing it's not good for is holding your stuff and going on the road with it, but it's not intended for that anyway. If you've got some rack gear and you need something to hold it and you're not going to be hitting the road with it, save yourself some change and get one of these.

Product Review Well made and really holds the weight. Has good balance and doesn't look like it will tip over. I would have given it five stars except that the holes seem to be off ever so slightly when mounting rack units to it. It caused me to skip a location to work it out. Fortunately I don't need to fill the rack.

Your general opinion of this product. Very Sturdy and well made. Looks Great also It was made better than I thought it would be for the price. I wouldn't have wanted it to be made any better than it was. Just the right amount of support and bracing. Hardware was adequate - no stipped screws. Paint job was fine. I really like the design. easy to load - easy to move even with every space filled. the basic idea is awesome - Just what you need nothing more. haven't used it on the road. But I thing it would be fine. Just make sure your using a good screw driver when you load you gear. c

Your general opinion of this product. I bought this for home use. It works great for keeping my rack gear in line without having to spend and arm and leg for road case style pieces. It is a very sturdy piece for home use. Took about 10 minutes to put this together. It is a sturdy enough unit to place in your home. Ease of use...just slide your units in and screw them down. The rubber feet are safe for my hardwood floors as well. It's a rack...it don't got no tone Very Well

I have 3 of these. The 1st one I bought was excellent. Fits my Yamaha MG166 mixer perfectly. The next 2 I bought for my amps, the left support screw holes were too narrow for both of them. Easy to assemble Your general opinion of this product. Would be perfect for my needs if the factory drilled the holes correctly.

Very well designed and manufactured. I would considerer it very well made, especially for the price. Sturdy and accessable It's a very simple but functional design It was easy to put together and very sturdy. I only have my Presonus Eureka in the top slot and it's very stable and fits right under my studio desk's keyboard drawer. Assembled without tools. Strong and steady. In use daily. well, it has no sound... . But having it makes me sound better :) n/a don't know about durability; I've only had it for a few weeks. No changes Your general opinion of this product. This is just what I needed to free up desk space. It used to be right in front of my iMac on the desk surface. I couldn't see any of the values on the knobs. But the rack conveniently tilts the face of the channel strip upward. I've uncluttered my workstation space and it's a lot easier to use my channel strip.

Very well. As I stated I have only had it for a day - but I have owned a great many racks and I am thinking about buying another one of these, even though I only have about 8 more spaces of gear because you can't beat the price. The one and only negative is that this rack is marketed as a 12 space, and while that is true, I had to put my tuner on the bottom because it was nice and shallow - you are NOT going to be able to put anything deep in the bottom two paces. Very easy to assemble and obviously racks gear just like any other rack. Not applicable... I have only had it for a day - but it seems like it is built like a tank. Your general opinion of this product. I love it - I am VERY happy with the construction of this product - VERY sturdy.

Great item Would be nice to have a tray on top to set up a mixer in a horizontal position... but it won't be hard to make that bracket and I will have one soon. Very easy to use and set up ...how could you go wrong...by not having one...does what it is supposed to do and then some. I already mounted a power strip to the bottom base. Just got it but seeems to be made very well Your general opinion of this product. What a deal for the price

Surprisingly sturdy and dependable. The fuller they get, the more sturdy as the racked gear bridges the metal pieces. As another reviewer pointed out, this should be advertised as 11U or even 10U. The bottom slot is useless, the second to bottom is mostly useless, but the unit is surprisingly sturdy and I don't hesitate to put $30,000 worth of gear between 2 of them. Comes with screws but no washers. took about 3 minutes to setup.. Mettalic :o) Time will tell, but I don't see how this is ever going to "stop" working. Your general opinion of this product. Overall, it's by far the cheapest solution and it's good enough for me. So much so I bought a second unit.

Great idea, poor execution

See comments above. This product should rightfully be listed as an 11U rack unit. The side rails slope significantly, making the bottom rack slot almost useless. Even relatively shallow devices like the MOTU 828 (7" deep) touch the floor in the bottom slot. Thus, the bottom slot is only usable for patchbays or 1/3U effects processors like the NanoVerb. The vast majority of rack mount devices I've seen just won't fit. Even the second slot could potentially be problematic, depending on your gear. My preamp (12" deep) barely fits. If it were even a half inch deeper, it would have to move up to the third slot. It's a shame. For pennies more per unit, they could have made the thing one inch taller and this wouldn't be an issue... or, better yet, they could have made the verticals... oh, I don't know, vertical.... You really have to wonder what they were thinking. It's a rack.... Not much to say. n/a Just got it. No idea. Your general opinion of this product. There's another hardware flaw, too. The thumb screws that hold the bottom crossbar are too large. The result is that it can be hard to tighten them down in a way that they hold things solidly without also acting like feet and making the thing rock back and forth.

The On Stage Stands rack stand looks to be very well built from .105 carbon steel tubing and 1/8" sheet metal broke to 90*to make the rack rails. the holes are drilled and tapped and is supplied with screws for mounting equipment. Easy to assemble and disassemble for storage purposes has a nice powder coat finish so it should hold up well under abuse. All the screws are included and comes with a top bar for added stability which I have noticed that some models do not have. very portable and versatile. N/A this stand should be able to hold up to anything short of a nuclear blast. Your general opinion of this product. this is a must have piece of equipment forany home studio or the gigging musician who has a lot of rack mountable equipment. I like concept of how easy everything is to get at to hook up unlike enclosed rack cabinets that can be difficult to reach in to plug in equipment.

Sturdy welds, no paint chipping, all-in-all exactly what i needed for a small home studio it's a metal rack...really it works as advertised! I really liked that it came with mounting screws!!! I didnt even think about that until the stuff showed up at my door and I was very relieved.. no instructions but youll figure it out. If you can't then you should probably not be handling the stuff that goes on it.

Solid rack - good price - works for me.

This is solid enough for my home studio. You can't beat it for the price. I was happy the screws were included and that the screw holes were not filled with paint. Assembly is easy. I'm a little disappointed that the rack is not fully drilled and tapped, but I couldn't pass up the deal. It is drilled and tapped as a 12U rack, but it is sometimes helpful to mount a device a half step up or down from other devices. This helps maintain better airflow, but you can't do half steps with this rack. You also can't mount a deep device at the very bottom because the rack is angled backwards. I can live with all of this because I'm using only 8U. It was easy to assemble. Often times, cheap racks have their screw holes filled with paint and you really gotta torque in the screws. This one had clean screw holes and my devices mounted easily.

It's built tough, but the two I have both wobble a 'little' bit. I'm not sure on how much weight they'll hold, but I've loaded both of mine up and everything has held up fine. What can I say? It's a cheap, 12 space rack It's rather simple to put together, just look at the diagram if you have any trouble putting it together.
