I bought this stand to go with a new 10" powered speaker that I purchased at the same time. I play music in senior living facilities and since I'm a senior myself, I'm more into what is compact and lightweight but still fills the need for what I do. This stand holds the speaker just fine which I have about 4-5 feet high. I highly recommend this stand to support a small speaker especially if you're performing in a small, low volume setting.

Needed this to place a powered montior near a drummer, and it does it's job perfectly without taking up all the space, and expense, of it's big brothers. It's rated at more than double the weight of the monitor, so I have no doubt it will last. What else can I say? It just stands there, but does it's job well! Only thing I'd improve is the holes for the pin. They're too far about. I don't think spacing the holes closer together would have to hurt the integrity of the shaft. But at the current spacing, not as useful as I'd like.

I bought 2 of these to use with my FRFR 108s. They have a small footprint for use in my home. They seem to be fairly well built and sturdy.I’ve only had them a few weeks but I am very pleased with them. I am not a gigging musician, but if I was I would be fairly confident using these in a situation where I was isolated from a crowd. I think if they were extended to their max height and were bumped by someone that they may fall over due to the smaller footprint. All in all though, highly recommended!

I actually read one of the other reviews about these stands being perfect for Bose S-1`s and sure enough, They are! I gave 4 stars because I feel that the tightening knobs could be better, but this stand is great for the money.

The stands are great. They held up the 15s that I bought, but they were not as tall or as thick as I expected. But all in all great buy. I can use them for my smaller speakers.
