I love the Native instruments products and this is A tier. No pun intended. I believe it has a perfect price point for all the amazing features it can do. If you want a spec bump you can always shoot for the S models. But for me, this was a perfect purchase for the price.

Great solid midi controller. I like the build. It’s plastic but doesn’t feel cheap at all. The knobs are solid. The buttons will either be liked or disliked due to the loud
clicking noise. I don’t mind it. The keys are semi weighted and are nice to use. 49 keys feels like a sweet spot for me. The whole unit is not to big for my desk. Great overall.

I’ve been a big user of NI products for some time and this doesn’t fail. Plug and play. I’ve got this and the Maschine MK3 running through Pro Tools and I love it.

Great controller, awesome Keybed. Never felt a Fatar, but this is better than Semi-weighted controllers at this price point. Great software and good creativity features. I knew the A49 would be solid but this exceeds what I expected.

This board and all the software from Native Instruements made making music fun again. It was easy to setup and I was up producing in an hour or so. It was an extremely low learning curve. I was so impressed I'm ordering their interface! I'd recommend this product AND AMS to everyone.

So I got this keyboard because I trust NI to make instruments with the musician in mind, I was right. I have to learn how to properly map it for Logic Pro X. All the buttons works as labeled but the buttons like "track instance" have to be map which is annoying . As a beginner I will grow into mapping it but not now. The keyboard keys it self is responsive and is good for Left and right hand practice. So I recommend this piano for beginners because its not heavy in weird settings that lead to hours of setting up the equipment. Its mainly plug and play.

I started with a very simple midi keyboard and then upgraded to this. I am really happy because it’s affordable, keys are neat to play and allow for expression and it’s is feature rich with all the software and libraries available. This essentially introduced me to the world of libraries and I am not enjoying my music even more. I highly recommend it as well as a few of their sound libraries.

Komplete Kontrol has a suite of products that allow you to elevate your production to its’ highest level. I definitely recommend it and the A49. The ability to compose by using the “Scale” and “Chord” features makes this product stand out. The response from the A49 keys are very intuitive.

Great price for a great board with great features. All A-series controllers by NI include the FULL Maschine software (called Maschine Essentials)-- it's a stripped-down sound library (2gb instead of 8gb) but, what a deal. To have this, and a used Maschine MK2 controller (can be bought secondhand for pennies these days), you have Maschine, plus several other great NI instruments for literally less than $400. Killer sounds and functionality.
My only gripe-- the screen's a little too small, and the buttons are VERY loud when you press them. Also, seems the firmware doesn't play well with Reaper (yet).. and there are also small quirks with the keyboard, but in general, awesome and great price.
