I purchased this so I could get back to writing music again, as I turned over my studio to my son who is in college to learn the industry and continue writing. This keyboard has plenty of features that work with my DAW, as well as the Bitwig s/w that was included. Considering the price point, it does what it's supposed to do. I don't like the action, but then again, you do get what you pay for. Bottom line, as I titled this review, it gets the job done!

I would recommend this product if you are looking for a small size midi keyboard that isn't too small or too big for your room Studio works I use FL Studio with it and it works with all vsts I have great product at a good price.

The seamless set up with Studio One.
I needed a keyboard that gives me the control interface that from my bedside, my system is above me and out of reach, this has lets me work the transports.
I have had it for 3 weeks, and I love it.
The Impact GX49 has fulfilled ever expectations, full size keys and DAW Control surface Outstanding.
I am a sync composer and this works so well, and can do anything.

The keys are full-size which is nice for an arranger. It is simple and easy to use- plug and play. I love that.
It is pretty thick and I dont like that. Only other negative is that the keys are stiff and springy. I would say that you get what you pay for, but I’ve used Casio keyboards that are less expensive that have a better touch to the keys.
The reason I like it outshines by far the reasons I don’t like it. I think four stars is fair. Maybe my expectations were a little higher than they should have been.
