As a new DAW recorder who has recorded on analog and digital workstations for approximately 20 years I found the general set up a bit daunting. That said , Novation has pretty good customer service . DO NOT expect the same from Ableton . I sent a couple help tickets over a week ago and still have no response . Managed to link the Impulse to Logic Pro x with no real issues other than my learning as I go .

This model of Novation controller is a must have for any serious minded music producer. It's compact design makes it sit nicely on my workstation table without stepping away to play. The semi weighted keys feels great too.

Brings a whole new meaning to control!

It is big, beefy, and looks very well made. It hasnt failed me yet.
From the 8 drum pads to the arpeggiator button and roll feature, midi in and out (not alot of controllers have that anymore!)
Just install automap, and it works completely with your DAW
No tones included.
Slow as I was impatient to learn how to program the midi CC numbers and sync it with my DAW
Yes, its enough for what I need it for, controlling vst's, Reason 6, and of course my racked midi gear.
