I have a lot of small menu dive style synths and its so nice having almost every knob per function on the Peak. the things in the menu make sense and just expand on what's available on the front panel. The sound is amazing and that's without the fx. The stereo fx are perfect and can be put in any order. The build quality is top notch and couldn't be better. I love Peak and am 100% buying another one for a backup.

I have been primarily creating music using my modular synth set up for over a year now, and decided to add the Novation Peak as additional synth voice. It was the best decision I could have made. Not only does it come loaded with some pretty decent preset sounds, the feel of the front panel is immediate --- modifying existing patches or the ease of use in creating your own isn't a challenge at all.
I've been using it to add pads, bass sounds, and even FM percussion to my modular melodies. Even though it's a hybrid synth, you can't tell a huge difference between it being analog or digital. The sounds are deep, lush and yummy.
This thing has a mod matrix that I haven't even even begun to tap. I'm currently controlling it using a Korg SQ-1 with a MIDI to CV adapter, and I find it most useful in providing the melodic foundation for other layers to build on.
Highly recommend.

With the continued customer and firmware support from Novation, the Peak is really a machine to behold. Timbres can be squeezed from Peak that you just won't get anywhere else. It is a sound designer's playground. Highly recommend!

I had been torn between purchasing a Dave Smith Prophet 6 and the Novation Peak. Given the far lower price point on the Peak I decided I would start with this unit to see if It could give me the warm tones and fun experience at having so much at my fingertips; And I was blown away by what this unit can do! 3 Oscillators that sound fantastic, the filter is wonderful, the effects are WAY better than I would have imagined (I could write a whole love letter to the reverb on this thing), and a menu based mod matrix that really shines with the new update. And in addition, some really nice wavetables as well, per oscillator!

I absolutely LOVE my Peak....it works flawless, easy to operate and has an incredible batch of sounds. I have KOMPLETE Ultimate 10 and this paid with it produces amazing sounds. Item is sturdy, made from really good materials...not cheap like other synths I have seen on the market..The wood trim is beautiful and knobs feel well made. I honestly would recommend this synth to anyone I talk to. I was impressed from the very first hour of use.
