Love this thing. I use it mostly for sampling. I have no experience scratching vinyls, but this unit is robust and makes it easy for a beginner to pull cool sounds out of it. For the price, you can’t beat it.

First the sound is great. Has that warm vinal tone.second I'm surprised on how stable the vinal is when scratching. Third I can bring it to the park and this tiny speak has great sound for the size... Must have for turntable junkies

Only had a chance to play a few times but the fader was very loose, so it would fall off, but I continued because it was a inconvenience if you made one. I do plan to get a mix fader, so It can improve the experience.
I do plan on using the mixer for live performances or recording sounds for whatever comes to mind, honestly.
Fun device for stress relief and mediation. Throw on some J Dilla and Practice To Cut Vol. 1 and you are set for the evening.

Very light, portable and fun to scratch on. Fits perfectly in home studio for sampling purposes or just to listen to classic LP's.
I saw lots of videos of people weighing the tone arm down with various items but as is I haven't had a single skip on my vinyl with vigorous scratching yet.
10/10 especially considering the low cost!

Big Thanks to a great company like American Musical that makes it possible for me to easily obtain gear though there no interest monthly payment plans. I have no credit history so I get denied by every other music gear company but AMS has my back! Purchased this turntable along with some headphones without having to break the bank. Great piece of equipment, does exactly what i need it to do! The scratching aspect was a bonus.

After researching different models, I found myself purchasing this Numark. The biggest draw is it's upgradability into a pro series scratch pad. This is excellent for beginners,and it's portability is a plus.

I have a lot of 45s and though they play well, the scratch feature doesn’t work so well on them. It works beautifully on 33 rpm records, and I love the cross fader scratch switch feature. It makes all the difference in the world!!!! Thanks AMS!!!!

This product out of the box is not what you'd expect for a scratch turn table. Was unhappy with the fader or more of a kill switch. However the many modifications that are available for this product is what made me want one. Once mods were complete like new faded and tone arm it worked like a charm.

But the power supply plug in broke.
I enjoyed it for about 6 months heavy use before it broke. Ordering another of the same model now. NUMARK!

Works ok but the volume goes in and out, not there, not enough sound thru the speaker this needs improving. The latch that holds to tone arm broke off after 2 uses plus the arm its very light I had to put a coin for weight to keep the needle from jumping. Lastly I will have to remove the switch and add my own not made for large hands.
