You can't find a better sounding amp in this price range than the Orange Crush 35RT. Both channels are great and it takes pedals like a champ. Reverb is nice and the Voice of the World speaker sounds good, even better when broken in. Would recommend picking up the footswitch. Excellent amp.

Having owned many a tube combo over my many years of playing guitar, luging them from gig to gig, this 35 wt combo with digital reverb and cab simulated line out, is all I need for solid, dependable performances, worry-free! Fairly light weight, easy operation, and astonishingly “tube liike” sonically! For larger venues, I’ve used the cab simulator output with great results! Great looking Orange color too! Try it for yourself! AMS stands behind all their products, with a very good realistic return policy! I love this amp, and respect AMS totally!

Like others have said, the clean channel is phenomenal. Gain channel can be a bit fizzy. It does take time to find the right settings but once you get it dialed in it's great. The reverb isn't great but it is very usable. This amp loves pedals! I've run modulation pedals (including a reverb) right into the front without using the effects loop and they sound great. Overall I love this analog amp and the sounds it can produce. But again, take the time to find the settings you like. Just a small tweaking of a knob can make a huge difference. It may not give you the hundreds of different sounds like a modelling amp (of which maybe 4 are actually usable) but what it does, it does very well.

Took a chance on this amp after owning valve amps from both Marshall and Orange. It’s worth noting that I have also owned the Orange CR120c and was blown away with the analog circuits and build quality.
In typical Orange fashion, this amp will not disappoint. I have always avoided 10” speakers due to the boxy sound and lack of headroom, but this amp seems to overcome these issues. Great sounding onboard reverb. Built in tuner is also pretty spot on (added bonus).
You can achieve a wide range of tones from this amp that most can’t and the gain gives you that beautiful 70s Brit crunch. This is an incredible “practice amp” that has gigging capabilities.

This is an incredibly versatile amp with the level of volume that goes beyond what a 35w should be able to. Has an authentic Orange tone and can really produce a variety of sounds covering the whole spectrum. With the fx loop it is very pedal friendly. One should try pedals through the fx loop as well as though front. Both result in different, but great versions of the desired sound.

For a modestly small amp, this one has power to spare. I was surprised at the amount of clean volume it puts out, even at low levels. I also bought the dirty channel foot switch, and found the true amp overdrive/distortion sounds to be quite good. Warning: do not be fooled by the amp's appearance, as it is heavier then it looks.

I bought this as a practice amp and was very surprised at all the features. First, it has a built-in tuner with a very readable print and light system. Second was the ability to plug in external music to play along via a 3.5 mm AUX cord. Couple this with a headphone jack and you’ve got the ability to jam along at night without bothering anybody at all!
As far as performance, I’m shocked at how good this amp sounds. I keep the amp on the “dirty” channel with the gain somewhere between 3 and 4. It has enough breakup to give a good natural overdrive that I prefer. But, if you so desire, you can crank the gain and get all the distortion you want.
The reverb section is straightforward. It doesn’t sound cheap, provided you use in moderation. And the amp itself can get pretty loud for something as small as this. I was pleasantly surprised!

Great tube like tone on both the clean and dirty channels. The clean channel just sounds awesome very Fender Twin kind of tone. The dirty channel has a great range of distoration. The amp can get pretty loud and just reacts like a tube amp the more you drive it. The reverb is also very good and the amp takes pedals very well. I guess the only complaint I have is when use the tuner it doesn't mute the speaker. Also just to note that the amp doesn't come with a footswitch to change channels and you can order it here.

Way louder than my 40 watt Fender Mustang GT and a lot richer sound. Even with the modeling features of the Fender it still cannot duplicate the Orange sound. I have only had it for a short time but It has quickly replaced my Fender as my go to when playing.

Comes with an excellent reverb built in as well as a gain knob that can be dialed in to get a vintage lightly-distorted tone or an 80s/nu metal type gain with a scooped mid. My favorite aspect is that the volume knobs are a bit more precise on this amp than on larger amps or others in this wattage range. Thus if you're recording licks with your phone or something it allows you to get just enough volume to drown out the picking sounds, and to play at low volumes with good tone and not disturb others in the house. I think Orange amps work especially well with Fenders, where clean tones and strong mids are desired, where blues/jazz/surf and other vintage tones are played with.

I’m partial to the clean channel and it sounds so clear and warm that if I don’t want to I don’t need to turn up the sound too much. Even at a very low volume it shines which is useful to me because I play it a lot at home. I’m a live streamer so I work from home and get paid to play this every day and so far it is my favorite purchase I’ve made for myself in over ten years. I have always wanted an Orange amp and this sounds exactly like a tube without all the maintenance. The weight and size are also perfectly manageable and for a three piece band in a medium venue this would also be suitable so I love that it is useful to me in more ways than one. The reverb and tuner are amazingly useful features. I highly recommend this amp and AMS sent it to me so fast it made my head spin. Overall very happy. It was a birthday gift to myself.

Totally in love with this little jewel! Right out of the box this unit just sounds awesome. The dirty channel is just so rich and full, it's hard to believe it's a solid state amp...the clean channel combined with a dab of the digital reverb is just as defining as the dirty channel...I've used this amp in the bedroom, practice and small venues...anything a little bigger just Mic it up to the pa and Rock out! I have owned many different brands of amps, some cheap and some very expensive. This is by far my favorite amp. The clean and dirty channels are amazing. The only pedal I am using with this amp currently is a MXR equalizer pedal and it sounds great!!!!! I play mostly metal and rock and this amp has great tone for that. The built in reverb is a great feature as well. I am extremely satisfied!!!

I had this amp shipped to me to another state (squatting more or less)I'm from Arlington, TX, but drove to EL Paso to do family business. I needed to play through an analong story short, I sent my pedal board into it. Played my AMS Fender Nashville Tele, SG and 3 Ibanez's. That was over a year ago... today, plugged my L6 HD500 into it's face! The Orange 35 actually liked it!!! The volume from the amp was louder too! I've read that guys use 2 in stereo... gonna think on that,but I will say... BUY IT!!!No matter what you think of, it just works.

I've had the amp for about 6 months, and I do love it. It's perfect for practicing, and so I don't have to move around my big set up so much. It's loud for being 35 watts and not being a tube amp, and it distorts pretty well. It's great for a beginner, or someone like me who uses it for practice. I got this as a bedroom safe practice amp. First of all, the construction of this amp is heavy duty. It's very well built & could probably take a good bit of abuse. Now the sound. Love the cleans, especially with a bit of the reverb dialed in. The reverb isn't the best, but very usable for practice. Channel 2 has that classic Orange crunch. It's not tube, but they came close. The built in tuner is also a nice feature, along with the effects loop, headphone jack, & aux input. Love this little amp.

I really love this thing. I was smart, I tried out the Orange Crush in a music store first and immediately heard how clean it sounded and knew that’s what I wanted and then ordered it from American Musical with the option of a payment plan. This amp is great! Great sound and distortion. I bought this for a practice amp but it is actually louder then expected. I have a Marshall DSL 100H and it sounds great. This thing is LOUD, but loud in a great way. It's not muddy and clogged, nor does itsound like a solid state, this thing "sings" and "sears" above the rest. A truly great piece of work. Rattle your home or your gig, the Orange crush does just that "crushes"!

Easy to use practice amp. 2 channels clean and dirty. The clean side breaks up nice when you dig into it. Not an overdone amp with a bunch off modeling effects. I searched for a bare bones amp and here it is . I like the effects loop, the tone both channels. My first Orange amp and I'm very happy with it.

Took it straight over to a practice session the day it was delivered.Incredibly good sound in such a "small and light" package.I've owned multiple amps over the yrs. can't lug around the larger more powerfull boxes anymore. This 35RT is easy to move, [ 30lbs ] and sounds great.

I have always been a big Fender amp guy, but needed something small, with reverb for a small church hall. I was skeptical about using an Orange for Country musi . I must say, the clean is perfect and the overdrive is second to none. Hidden behind a curtain, the most discerning guitarists would think it's a full size tube amp.

I bought this cause at my age haul'n a 1/2 stack around proved bothersome. It beats out everything in its family of combo's (35-45w). The cabSim gives a faithful reproduction of a 412 cab. All its features are professoinally engineered to an artists ear :) <3 it !!!

This is a very versatile little amp. Two channels with a transparent effects loop give it endless tonal capabilities. The clear channel has a two stage preamp. It delivers a crystal clear clean sound with the gain turned down but begins to break up just enough to get a really nice growl when the gain is up. The dirty channel is outrageous!! It has a four stage preamp that can give you anything from a classic rock tone all the way to a super distorted death metal crunch and anything in between. The channels are foot switchable as well which is a definite plus for me. This amp has a built in reverb and chromatic tuner too. The tuner is just as accurate as my Snark and can automatically detect any tuning that you may be playing in. The reverb is the only real complaint I may have as it is fairly weak to me. It is a digitally emulated spring type reverb and it sounds ok, you just have to basically crank it wide open to hear it. But with the effects loop this isn't really a problem for me.

Orange has really come up with a great little amp. I've used about every brand of solid state small amp there is at one time or another and this rates at the top of the heap. Simple design- really only a two trick pony in that it has a clean channel and dirty channel, but those channels do what they're suppose to with awesome tone. Clean is very good and articulate even with hotter pickups. With the 4 stage gain structure you can go from thick blues crunch all the way to searing metal leads. Add a tube screamer pedal out front and you can get that tube-like sag on chunky power chords. The guitar's playing dynamics really come alive. Also, the reverb is quite usable and even lush when you crank it wide open on clean. The standard EQ section responds very well to slight adjustments. All in all this is a killer little amp for the bedroom, studio, or even small to medium room gigs- the 35 watts are VERY loud and punchy.

I think this would be cool little amp to own. It would more than likely be a BIG step up from my Fender Champion 600 (5 watt). I am seriously considering this little Orange! What would even cooler, is if I WON ONE OF THESE!!!!!! :-)
